Fun Stuff... Need help with a name.....

Honestly, appreciate your desire

Thanks again to everyone who contributed... We should have logos for the HammerHead B/J Tip by the weekend... The deciding factor is we are also releasing a m/s tip that will be called Shark-Bite.... It doesn't require chalk unless you are going to use more than a tip and a half of english.... Sooooo Great White, HammerHead, Shark-Bite are all going to have similar style graphics and look to their logos.....

Still looking at Icarus for our jump cue but it is further down the line in devlopment... If the Japanese would just catch a flying shark and name it I would be set!!!!!

This is great in theory but seriously not a good idea to advertise. Unfortunately the majority of pool players from my experience are whiners and complainers. This is not personal, but every missed shot is the table, the chalk, the tip. I think you are asking for a unrealistic result, your tip may require no chalk within a certain tolerance, only problem pool players don't have a tendancy for tolerance. Do yourself a favor, recommend Great White chalk and say if you forget to you should be ok. BTW I am so sick of chalk discussion.....

Am over the chalk discussion as well when the test results were seriously flawed by not taking in environemental variables... But I will advertise Shark-Bite because you can go games and games until you need spin... I can play one pocket for a whole day and not chalk...

I can play 9ball and thinking about chalking has me playing different patterns so I don't have to juice the ball...

I'd say if you can play 9ball with my tip and no chalk you are getting somewhere... I watched a local shortstop here for 40 minutes last night use it... One he understood the limit he ran around the table and kept getting out by just taking care of whitey and staying close to center....

If you chalk this tip unless you have my stroke or a real STROKE midgame I don't think you CAN misscue...

I'm sold if it works

You pm'd me earlier about some test tips. We are a Kamui authorized dealer, however I use a Wizard m per Bob Rundes reccomendation. Send me a couple and we will test them and send them to Bob, if he is willing to give a opinion we will be sure to relay it as well as ours. I know you care about the game more than profit, I appreciate that more then anyone probably realizes.

name for a tip

We finally have the "SOLID" Leather break tip in testing ANNNND We have a Synthetic that so far is outperforming the Synthetics that are out.... I won't change the name of the "SOLID" but I am not sure I want to call the synthetic the "SOLID PRO".... I am leaning to "The HAMAR" or Maybe "SOLID-HAMAR" or "Outsville-Hamar"...

So far the testing has been better than expected on both tips.... And we are working on several new products...

If you saw me at Derby jumping 1/8" gaps 10 out of 10 yes the jump cue is on the way... The Icarus trick jumper lives and I will have demos at the expo... But back to the whole reason for the thread...

The break/jump tip is light tan... So the color won't help for a name... it has to be perfomanced based... Hammer?... Thunder?... Cracker? it's not that light tanned. get over it if I offended you LOL...

Looking for a name... Post what you think would flow off the tongue with "Outsville" knowing our leather tip is the "SOLID".... And our chalk is "Great White"..... ohh crap maybe cracker wasn't the one non-PC...

Seriously am looking for suggestions....

Chris

I was think Gunnar was kind of a cool name , In Viking it means weapon
