Fun Stuff... Need help with a name.....

Asbani, from speaking with you, I do know that you are definitely in there with the Good Guys.

It is just the general connotation that Middle Eastern names might bring up. Not that there is anything wrong with being Gay, if that is what you are, but naming them LGBT Tips is along the same line.

See how easy it can be to associate certain words with certain actions.

May sound funny but, I have refrained from buying things in the past, just because of what a particular name has stirred inside of me.

So, in certain situations, you can take an identical item, same package, two different names and I may be more inclined to purchase the one with the name that pleases me the most, even if there is a bit of a price difference.

Hey, I never said that I wasn't a Sheeple at times.

Steal conjures up 2 different meanings. When I use this tip, it is easy to Steal your money at the table. And Steel. Metal, hard, strength.

This just reminds me of how you can take an inferior product, Billy Ray Cyrus for example. Market his one stupid song and he is a famous Country singer. And he gets his own TV Show.

Hamar is supposed to be an Arabic word for donkey? Don't see a problem using Middle Eastern words but one that translates to donkey ( for a cue tip)....well I don't know. Maybe Hamar for the jump cue. More scholarly opinions would be appreciated.

You could call the Jump cue, the Lil Joey. :-)

Thanks again to everyone who contributed... We should have logos for the HammerHead B/J Tip by the weekend... The deciding factor is we are also releasing a m/s tip that will be called Shark-Bite.... It doesn't require chalk unless you are going to use more than a tip and a half of english.... Sooooo Great White, HammerHead, Shark-Bite are all going to have similar style graphics and look to their logos.....

Still looking at Icarus for our jump cue but it is further down the line in devlopment... If the Japanese would just catch a flying shark and name it I would be set!!!!!
 
Outsville Pro sounds good. Get that company name out there. Good luck with all your pool stuff. Your a hard working guy. Being a "one man band" isn't easy, but when you hit, it's really a blast, Johnnyt

Sorry couldn't help the title but I also vote negative on the Hamar or whatever it was. How bout "meet the drop" tips. Several meanings can be parlayed.

Outsville Pro was number 2 Johnnyt =)... And I may be a one man band but I have lots of experts writing the music for me... Growing up in and around Oak Ridge and working at the lab for the short time I did taught me there are always smarter people out there who specialize in things that you could spend a lifetime learning...
