For me, the lowest price by a few cents or a few dollars is NOT the primary consideration when I'm purchasing something like a cue.
The primary consideration is support.
What is support? Support is expertise and someone who is willing to spend a little time with me (either on the phone or in the showroom/store) both before and after the sale. I've come to appreciate the benefits of having a relationship with those with whom I do business on such items.
There's a retailer on eBay, who is also a forum member, who prices competitively, but is not always the lowest price. His service (and the service from his team) has been awesome. I usually end up purchasing items from him.
I appreciate Seyberts for sponsoring this forum. I believe I will add them to the limited number of Billiard supply retailers with whom I do business. In fact, when I purchase the OB-136, they're in contention to be the retailer I choose.
My advice, be passionate, listen to your customers (as you are doing now) and be patient. PM me a link to your business and I'll happily browse and give you a shot for whatever my next purchase is. Good luck! -Z-
