CJ has been a true gentleman throughout these threads! If everyone had his demeanor, myself included, these aiming threads might even become productive!

If the majority of membership wants a Pro Less forum then declare it as such & prohibit anyone that makes any money from anything billiards related. But to me that is bit of mob rule. If Management would like more Pro Players here then management would have to make it a more conducive place for them to be & it's just not so, as is.

The problem is within the AZB population not with CJ nor Pro Players as a group.

What AZB lacks even more than Pro members is true civility. It is nearly impossible for a member to express an opinion on AZB without some trying to shut down that expression of opinion that differs from theirs. If one sticks with their opinion & expresses it then it will in almost every situation get uncivil in one manner or another.

The first thread I ever opened was regarding civility or rather the lack of civility & that was in the Ask the Instructor sub forum.

Moderation of these forums is certainly difficult but an attitude of civility should be the standard & perhaps taught by very regular if short timeouts just as used by parents to teach children & not necessarily a set of specific rules. Rules can almost always be circumvented & skirted if one really wishes to do so. Then those that do do so pat themselves on the back for being so 'smart'.

Just my opinions & perhaps some food for thought.

PS Obviously it's not mine to do but if at all possible, I would clean up the unused sub forums & create categorizations such as Leaguers, Gamblers, Pros, Beginners, Old Timers, Stroke Mechanics, etc. Maybe then when one is another's house they might behave with more civility. But given what I've seen here that probably would not work either.

He's good for the forum but you gotta wonder, would he really be stopping by if it weren't for toi? Hope so.

I'm sure CJ realizes he dealing with a wide range of people and things tend to happen , thick skin is required, he's got it and more. I just hope he doesn't come to a sudden stop, ain't gonna be pretty.:eek::grin-square:

I'll go back & put lock up safeties in single quotes like this 'lock up safeties', so as to not confuse or mislead 'anyone'.

FYI If one knows that an opponent does not jump very well then what may not actually be a lock up safety, to you, could & probably would, for all intent purposes, 'actually' be a 'lock up safety' & should probably be played for vs what would probably be a more difficult to get true lock up safety.

I'd like to thank you for 'instigating' me to go back & add the single quotes.

I'll just say that you and I have a far different definition of what "gentleman" means. But, I will say, that if we all acted like him, the only one that wouldn't be banned is him.:wink:

Yes Neil, that can be a subjective perception vs an objective truth.

I know which one you think is which, even though you seem to not know the difference is those terms generally.

Perhaps Mr. AtLarge can tell us which is which, but it would be a very difficult task because there can be a connection that crosses threads & even months of time.

Statistics can, at times, be very misleading or if done in enough detail, very telling.

I'd put my faith in all of the readership that make no complaints about CJ along with the many testimonials of those that thank him vs the very few that do little but stalk him & troll him at nearly every turn.

Not if you shoot it straight on with no side spin.

That ball is not thrown, but because of the spin of the C B hitting th first ball puts spin on it which will throw the second ball.

Why would you spin the CB? The test is for what happens with only CIT, so the idea is to eliminate other possibilities, not add them.

Your last two posts, back to back, should be good evidence that you are not objective when it comes to anything regarding CJ Wiley.

What your bias is is not apparent to many, but the fact that there is a bias is rather obvious.

I've been told privately, that you have been biased against nearly every Pro Player that has ever posted here on AZB during your time here.

What is it Neil? What is your bias against Pro Players?

By the way, before you go trying to besmirch me, by just passing along idle gossip, maybe you should get your facts straight first. And, oh, just so you know, that statement is nothing but pure horse droppings.

And, if you ever bothered to read my posts without YOUR bias, you would find that my post about CJ are totally unbiased. Unlike you, I don't hold grudges and go out of my way to besmirch someone with just made up nonsense.

It doesn't matter that he really won the title, invitational or not, decades ago & was also voted Player of the Year.

Well, I think almost ALL of us know that that is simply a false statement.

Maybe some day you will understand that actual titles mean something. But, I doubt it. By the way, that post was a response post to someone elses' post.

Now, care to show me, in any recognized listing of World Champions, where his name is listed?

By the way, I am the current World Champion in all pool games. I held the tournament this afternoon in my basement, and I won. :D

Show me just ONE post where I said something about CJ that was not true. You can't because there isn't one. All you are doing is trying to attack me and using CJ as your tool. Show one part of my recent post to you that was not true. You know it is, and you had to see yourself for what you really are, and rather than change, you attack. Pretty lame.
