Hers a couple unique combos.... The top is the first time Barry did this combo lt. blue and holly.. He told me only done twice...

The second is like a Gus but the blue and mahogany are switched..... Makes the blue stand out more hence the blue wrap Pete T suggested And put on it...




 
I love the colors, but I HATE the glue lines. How about you guys?

Well, they all have them,,,,,but the art and skill comes into play with hiding or minimizing them, even with milled points. One thing is for sure, there are many different makers today who are doing some real tight traditional veneered points. That was absolutely not the case 20-25 years ago.
 
Nothing fancy with the veneers but I like the colors.

Good looking work there Bob. You have been a busy beaver over the winter months, huh? Always like seeing what you have in the works. Sorry we didn`t get to meet up again this year at PA states the other week, was a busy wkd for our team. Keep up the great work buddy

Good veeners, when done properly, will show no gluelines. And they'll likely look a bit better than a 486 pointer in horrible colors. But that's just my opinion.
