Schon Cues?

EVAN LEFT
As far as the cues go,they will probably remain the same
in quality

john is a brilliant and talented guy,he will soon demonstrate this to everyone
He has been doing a certain percentage already

As Rundy said, they were no worse off without me,and should be
just fine with John at the helm

Nonetheless I bought one of my tributes just to say I
had one of evan's best

No one knows where Evan will show up,but I hope he continues making
cues,He was talented to say the least

I don't see any impact for Schon cue prices to change with Evan leaving, I could see some change if Bob came back tho. Long term Schon cue's play about the same across the line which is good for them and the customer.

Anyone know whats happening at Schon?Heard Evan was leaving .

I sent a cue to Schon for repair and I never spoke to Evan. There is a guy name John whose there to answer the phone calls and responding to my emails.I am curious too what happen to Evan.

Evan Clarke Schon cues aren't going to go up in price. There'll sell for what a used Schon sells for nowadays.......now the tributes cues he made, that could be different.
It depends on ho much of a Schon fan you are. Personally, I think if he started making custom cues on his own.......limiting the number of cues he made to avoid saturating
the market, he'd could start his own line under his name and do quite well. As long as he'd make a cue with sharp points and a flat ivory joint, I might be interested in owning
such a cue made under his name.

It is my understanding he is just retiring. I am not sure how old he is but my guess it would +- 70.

Bump

Anyone else have any details why Evan left????
I still have my E59 that he designed, and it is one
of my best playing cues. It is also by far the
absolute straightest cue I own. This marks the
end of an era for sure. It is safe to say modern
Schon cues are not very collectible, but for a
true players cue it gets no better.

Too many emails not returned and there was mutiny, a coup ousted Evan.

Evan went to sengen cues.

If true I wish him well in his retirement or whatever else he is doing. He doesn't know me from the man in the moon but he helped me out one time and didn't charge a dime.

Solid stand up guy.

New Schon

Well, I just received a new Schon and the workmanship is good and the cue plays great. I'm waiting for a second, fancier one to be delivered. So based on the cue that I just received, I would say that they are still making great cues.
