Saw this Cue in person almost 10 years ago when it was being refinished. It wasn't for sale. I was told it was the mailman's Cue. The Cue is almost 40 years old.
Rock solid.
Can't get wood like this any more.

If that is a Scruggs, I was the first owner of that cue. Was my design with the clovers. Bob Frey did the clovers! About 1980. I sold the cue to Bruce Carson. It was a second cue for me as I had a 1979 Rambow style (Hoppe) ivory joint Scruggs. After I sold this cue I had Tim make me a steel joint 4 point with stained birdseye forearm.

Own a Scruggs? It is a TS. It must have been yours. I don't think it was repeated. I wonder why they said it was the Mail mans.
Thank you for the history,
Nick :)

Bob Can't rember anything.

I hope he remembers his wife's birthday!
It is coming up real soon. He did put clubs in a Cue. Long ago. The inlays indexing had to be tricky. Everything about their placement is exceedingly clean.
Thank you,
Nick :)
