I bet you don't...but if you consider yourself a regular of a poolroom (not the bar!!) and you don't give a flying ***k that 2 monsters of the game you are going to play (and love cause' you called yourself a regular) in that room are there to play(gamble or not...) for a few hours, why go to play the game of pool at all..?! Just saying...

To say I don't drink is a lie, but that's another story.
I really don't care if two "Monster Players" show up at my pool hall. I enjoy playing pool, not watching it. I never saw anything when I started playing that said I have to enjoy watching "Monster Players" play on the table in the corner.
You are really asking me, why I wouldn't want to sit and watch to pool players play pool for a few hours. Tell me I don't love the game as much as you do, but calling me nitty, not a regular, or whatever else, is simply untrue.
...and yea I'll pay 20$ to see those bowlers spinning the rock...if that was my game...
Btw, my poolroom also hosts concerts and other events every month. Why should I go if I didn't even hear about those guys on the stage ...right? ....

What if it's not my game and I still enjoy bowling on the weekend? There are a lot of people that enjoy bowling regularly, but are not bowlers. What say you, then?
I typically don't go to concerts for bands I don't care for. If you do, more power to ya', but it's not my thing, and to chastise me for not liking what you like to do is absurd.
I am confused. At the beginning you say you will watch matches that are free whether they are live streamed or recorded. Then at the end you say pool is not enjoyable to watch. Is it just not enjoyable enough for you to spend $5 on or because you will watch if it is free.........
You also can't play at the level professional pool players play at. Do you watch your buddies on league night or just practice and leave after your match? Do you watch other players in tournaments? Or is it all just about you?
I do watch matches online, at my leisure. I also choose what matches I want to watch. That is not the same as two professionals coming to town on a set schedule. My only choice is to go or not go, in which most instances I won't go. Ya follow me?
You have one thing right, I don't play at the level of professionals. About everyone on AzB knows that. I do watch my buddies on league nights, because I enjoy being with my buddies. I also go watch when my buddies are gambling, because, again, I enjoy being with my buddies. I'll watch other players in tournaments, when I'm in the tournament and am waiting on my match. Is it all about me? Depends. If I'm going to practice, I don't want to be bothered. If I'm going to gamble or play in a tournament, then that's a different story.
What I
choose to do is always about me. It was my choice after all. The problem with pool entertainment, is that there is not enough reasons for someone like me, to go out of my way and spend a measly $10 to watch some professionals play. I'd love to go to the SBE, but I have no interest in going to an exhibition to watch players.
