OP would have had to if indeed a fifteen ball rack was used. Which btw a fifteen ball rack being used makes more sense than believing Finnegan, the shooter, and the whole crowd either screwed bim directly or remained silent about it.

I hear that. I play pool a few times a week. Played baseball a few nights a week for the past 25 years we've been married, so yeah, she never complained about me playing either one, not one time. Or called or even texted me at the pool hall or at the field. The last thing I'm doing on my anniversary is taking her to a ball game or a pool room ;)

I think losing the brk n run was the Pool God's slapping him and saying "dude, for real?"

Maybe in all his excitement, he could not remember if there were 15 balls used, or only 10, and thus he just didn't feel like a lucky punk ;)

And the fact he was not the actual breaker in the contest, he failed to recognize the extra 5 balls, it is the same "shape" as the 10b rack. Big crowd, lots of folks, someone else actually breaking, and a wife whispering in his ear that he is ONE DEAD SOB if he does not get her to some fancy restaurant NOW ;)
 
So in the "who is a crook and who is a scumbag" race, I'm going out on a limb and scoring this as follows:

OP: aspiring crook, not scumbag (needs to work on memory a bit more to be full-on crook)
Finnegan: not crook, not scumbag (but loses major style points for sending pics of watch over facebook that aren't either in animated gif or internet meme format)

Nominations for the review committee, complaints committee and appeals committee will not commence until after all of the post 2015 US Open escrow threads have died down.
 
This whole thread is probably just to get a few more people to watch the show, maybe he OP will make an appearance.

After the fifteen ball misunderstanding was brought up OP countered saying only ten were used. That is not the statement someone who cant remember makes.
 
I love when people spout off and don't use their real names on az. Cause they know if someone met them in person they'd get their ass punted across the room.
