Anyone know the scoop on his cue that he used at the Accu Stats 1-Pocket Invitational? Looks like a SP with green & yellow veneers...interested to know the brand & specs

Efren, more than any other pro, seems to have had a new cue for every tournament over the past 30 years
Add to that, U.S. based fans usually have no clue what brand it is.

Quite a few on FB are saying the cue was made by Patrick Diveney.
Lol, Pat made the trade of a lifetime, Sky for Efren.
How he cleared waivers is beyond me.
Maybe someone who knows...JoeyinCali??? will respond.
My current guess is it might be an 'Efren Reyes' cue...possibly by Mezz..IIRC correctly, Joey may have commented on this previously.
He used to play with various Judd's, but he may have returned the most recent Judd a couple years ago....
Efren could probably make magic happen with most any cue..:thumbup:

I've seen Efren play with his Titlist tribute, Cosmo, and a few other plain janes.
This is his Cosmo cue. There are better photos and a video of him talking about it on the TAR Youtube page when he played Shane.

He has used the cue (Cosmo/Mezz) in the first pic you posted for the longest time. I've seen him use the Titlist a few times but the one he used in the Accu Stats event is something I've never seen before. He's superstitious so I'm guessing he'll use this one because he thinks it's a lucky cue...still curious to know what the cue is.
I've attached a photo of it but a few more could be seen if you go to the event's photo gallery on AZB.

Ahhh gotcha. Yea, that's not the Titlist.
FYI, this the older cue in his Efren Bata Reyes series made for him by Cosmo.
I read that he was under contract with Mezz/Cosmo so he had to use the BEM plain in major tours.
