The Hustlers: episode 9 Atlantic City

Guess we West Coast viewers can go to bed early. We just "watched" the Show 3 hrs. before it airs here.

I've learned to not click until after I've watched the show...would be nice if the opening post said "spoiler alert" though,

Another fun & enjoyable episode. Hope the show gets another season.

loved this episode, lots of matches.. Also enjoyed less Ross and Amy..
can't wait for the finale, looks like Borana Andoni is gonna get some air time (:

I was hoping Finnegan would come in during Ross and Amy's dinner, grab the key off the table, say "I make the matches" and then walk out.

Dude! I died reading this!! Lmao

I walked in to Jose's right after the film crew left. I know Bob Milane and that was hilarious... Barretta you're awesome!

Scotty

Scotty rode over with them, but I didn't remember seeing him on the party bus
on the way back celebrating with them. Did any one else notice this, or did I miss
something. Also thought the show was great and glad to see Jared getting the win.

Anybody know what room they were playing in. Is it Atlantic City Billiards? Was there a couple weeks ago. Nice room. Gary, the owner, runs a tight room.

Where is it at? Was going to AC all the time and couldn't find a place to play

1) I think this was the best episode so far. I hope it gets a chance at a 2nd season.

2) I also noticed where the balls were changing. I write that off to some safety they have to skip over. There trying to put at least 6 hours of pool playing into 30 to 40 mins. So to me it's to be expected.

I believe it's in Absecon, NJ. Really a nice room. All 9 footers by my recollection. About 25 tables and a heated 3 cushion. Mostly Gold Crowns and some are shimmed. Two triple shimmed for one pocket at the front of the room. Actually played on an AMF there which brought back memories for me as the first room I played in at 14 had AMF's. Some days they open at 1pm and some days 6 pm. Check them out on facebook.

see post #23. The building said QBall Billiards. This was as they're walking up, right before they got in a circle and did the power move with all hands in. I can't believe nobody else saw this.

What an episode! C'mon, even the doubters should at least love the hour of constant pool action we just witnessed (minus the dud side story of Amy and Ross).

I was standing up and cheering, fists raised, when Jarred hit that billiard to sink the final 8. What a shot! Great for him and his story.

This show just captured the magic of pool. The nail biting, gripping tension, down to the wire, it's all or nothing moment like that. Can't script it. It just happens.

Outstanding episode. congratulations to the players involved.

Come on , seriously ? Stand up cheering over edited reality TV and yes scripted ,, if your not on thier marketing team you should bev

enjoyed the episode, know what i didn't enjoy was Scott drinking out of a flask in a pool hall. even if its fake i would like to see them show people supporting the room, right down to renting a table for a few hours to practice. they could do like a low budget practice video with MD, lol

Thanks Scott,
Never been to Qball. Supposed to be a nice room. I believe it's in Vineland NJ.

There are no poolhalls in Atl City. Q Ball is in Vineland, owned by Jose Garcia; nice guy and a 300 ball runner.

From watching the trailer, it looks like Jenn was playing Bob Milane, also a good guy and up & coming player.

I saw Adam Kielar, Matt Krah and Derek Schwager too.

The Q is also byob, which is why Scotty brought a flask.

Aren't Scotty and Borana a couple? Who are you going home with, her or the crowd on the bus?

No disrespect intended, just sayin....
