Justin vs Dennis updates

I'm here in person

I am very jealous Busboy. Wish I could have been there. Congrads to Justin. I wonder how he made such a fast and amazing come back after taking almost 4 years leave from competition play (from what I read on here)? I imagine he must have been playing a little on and off during those 4 years that he was not on the road. It sounds like he is playing the best pool of his life. I heard he was playing really great when he was 18 or 19 (at the time when he had the exhibition against Morra). By the way, I would love to buy that Morra vs Bergman video if it is for sale anywhere.

Yea he's been playing great pool

fargorate

What is JB fargorate vs DO? Really hard to handicap with factors such as being tired, age, alcohol, drugs and mind set. Still have to play the game.

Love how people always find a way to degrade a player that isn't SVB or Efren. Justin obviously played good enough to beat Dennis, but instead of congratulating him some people feel inclined to try to tear him down for not doing X,Y, or Z things.

How sad.

Great win to Justin Bergman.

Justin Bergman 772
Dennis Orcullo 812

That made Justin just over 3 to 1 underdog in a race to 15. To win 15-8 it was probably 10 to 1. I figure he's playing well over his 772 Fargo Rating at the moment.

And now, after the match, Dennis moves down to 810.6--world #5--and Justin moves up to 777--USA # 5.

Rankings and picking favorites are for the gamblers...

Despite all the stats and whatever..,

You need to play to determine the winner.

Man I really liked Dennis in this match as I'm sure a lot of ppl did.

I have to swallow the pill when I'm wrong though. Great win by Justin! I didn't think he had it in him but just goes to show you why good players step up to play the big boys. Bc they believe they can win!

Can't wait to see what this does for Justin's game!

Dennis had a long hard day of travel, missing one flight and having to play right after he got there. He's a trooper though and played anyway on zero rest. Justin's a very good player but next time they play it could turn out different. Carry on

Mike -- When I looked at the ratings list last night, I didn't know if the ratings for Dennis and Justin were before or after their match. So it occurred to me that it might help if you put an "as of" date and time on your lists.

Huge factor.......

Many tournaments were decided the night before by who slept the best, who woke up the best or who just didn't prepare the best.

I think either one of these guys could win in a rematch. Could go either way.

Glad to see my buddy Justin took it down.......

Way to go Justin....Keep on rolling.
