Perhaps this should be a lesson to all: if a buyer has a problem with the transaction, reverse it in its entirety.

Well, a seller who won't reverse it clearly knows there is an issue with the item he is selling. That's Sleaze 101
Or/ and is somewhat desperate to get rid of the item.
Or the items were as described and the buyer is trying to scam him by holding the merchandise hostage. This never happens does it? 
It is almost always less headache and aggravation to gets your goods back and refund the money if the buyer is not satisfied, but sometimes it's not that easy when you have a buyer with a few screws loose, it a scammer, or a douchecanoe. Sometimes they are all three.

Threads like these is why I will never buy anything pool related off the internet from a place where there is no cited return policy/customer satisfaction clause.
You screw someone over, and then first one who loses their temper gets put on blast as the bad guy, when sometimes, it's fully warranted.

True, hangemhigh, aka Jeff Forney is an odd ball to say the least. Brian Lipes could be 100% within his right to be upset, but you don't go full retard on a few hundred bucks. You try to work it out and if you can't within the framework our our laws, you move on and treat it as a lesson learned.

For similar reasons, I have refused to go to some pool events because of the words written on this forum. When I say I fear for my safety, I am not kidding. One recent back-and-forth gave me pause when the perp went to other pool-related forums to write about me, their hatred of me, laced with vulgarities and curse words, and the reason why? Because I was writing words for Keith, at Keith's direction, on AzBilliards Discussion Forum.
I don't want to feel like I have to go to a pool event packing a gun, but some of the words written with hatred, vulgarity, and anger are disconcerting, to say the least.
Seriously so e people just aren't playing with a full deck. That's why I'm a CCW permit holder and so is my wife.

Only the 2 people involved know what happened but ask yourself this - if a guy shipped you cues which were not as described and then after you complained started a thread calling you a dirtbag how would you react?

Brian sent me photos, the handles are cracked through in several cues, and they are all (except one) warped pretty badly.
He also says he was shorted a cue.
I know he gets ultra, crazy heated, but I've never known him to try and scam someone.
