3) Shame on AZB for not giving John Barton his own sub-forum. Welcome back Barton, we know you will try to last longer this time.

I hope nobody takes this thread too seriously, just poking a little fun. Nice to see big threads in less than a week, but I'm still jealous that my "tiddies and beer" thread in NPR was only 3 pages.
Name change to "politics" in order over "NPR".

It will never be settled IMO. Even if there was some form of empirical evidence to support one side or the other...... they would still argue the same points, and the new one about the testing being flawed....... :grin-square:

When an argument is based more on personal conjecture and bias than the issue at hand, its nothing more than a pissing contest.
 
"Beating a dead horse threads" should be locked at some point. Though I'm sure that would spawn even more "beating the horse threads" railing on censorship/moderating/favoritism etc etc etc. too bad

Some of those threads do make for an excellent read though.
In some cases is more gripping than the latest issue of billiards digest magazine.

It's AZs version of shock radio, you just have to keep going to see what happens next.
or maybe a better analogy would be pulp fiction for billiard enthusiasts.

I'm all in and asking for more! :thumbup:

Yup, rubber necking at an auto accident comes to mind as well.

Pretty cool to sit back and watch the neighbors house go up in flames. No one was inside !

Lou, why am I laughing at the thought of some kid in a pool hall being introduced to CTE, and I'm pulled over in my car watching from the distance as you come screaming by in the fire truck, full lights and sirens-you hanging off the side of the truck waving arms for people to get out of the way as you rush in?


I have tears in my eyes. Maybe it's the lack of sleep but I find it hysterical.
