I love how people market cues on this site.

A Schmelke or Valley conversion is exactly that.

The sellers here and Facebook call it a [Cuemaker] Full Splice like they made it.

Ha.

Ha, you couldn't be more right. That would be like me marketing my cue as Irving Crane's pool cue....or someone marketing the adams lines as "authentic Bushkas. People know better (one would hope).

Hype?....I don't see no stinkin' hype...
...I must've told youse guys that a million times

The word "monster" adds at least $500 dollars to the value. I look at the wanted/for sale forum just to see the cues but I can't afford 90% of the stuff for sale on there. $1,000 dollars for a merry widow.

Seems like so many are "test hit" only as well...

This is a pretty good one. I have been "test hitting" my "mint" cue 4 hours per night, 4 nights a week for a year now. Still hits a ton though, in case anyone was wondering.

I find the interesting combination to be test hit only, no chalk on tips, brand new, but somehow it hits a ton & monster player. It seems the front & back half of these comments form a contradiction.

Exactly!

The seller is simply stating that he is the best player in the entire fre%$#ng world because he needs no chalk on the tip,and only needs to hit with it 3-4 times to know exactly how it plays. (Right after they wrote that ad, they went out and Beat SVB out of 50K too !) :grin-square:

I like the ones that say," best deal on AZB right now! " (like they know what you are looking for)

My Cleveland Browns Cue sale was my attempt at a parody after viewing many of the sales here. A few days ago I saw an ad that stated the cue has never been used, yet had the tip had been fully chalked. Hmmmmmm.

You can see how much the sellers read the rest of the forum. Half of the for sale forum has the same gibberish heading as my satirical For Sale post.

I see that, and it's instant iggy.

I best be careful. Seller will post a deadline before it goes to Ebay!

And then they will lower the price again after the final price drop a month after it doesn't sell on ebay
