I feel sorry for the poor SOB that loses his first match and then has to play KO in his second.

What's the over/under on how many matches KO wins in the losers bracket? I'm gonna say 6.

I am not a ko nut hugger but I wouldn't be surprised to see him in finals.....he is favorite in the next few matches minimum.....I just am impressed with how well he plays under pressure......reminds me of earl in his prime

Imo Ko's only weakness is taking it too easy on women or other obviously inferior players.

I understand how it can be tough getting up for playing someone who is not suppose to beat you on your worst day but still, he has got to find a way to get up for a match like this because getting beat is a real possibility in pool if you take the game too lightly. The thing I believe Ko has to do is he has to find a way to make the match a challenge even when he is the heavy, heavy favorite.

They say Michael Jordan did this. He would find one little thing against one particular opponent to work on to challenge himself. Maybe it would be on defense: keeping his offensive player going left every single time. Maybe it was on offense: coming off a screen and shooting the millisecond he saw an opening. Whatever his strategy, we all know it kept him engaged and improving, even when he was the best player in the world. Imo Ko has got to do the same thing here. It really is a shame that he lost but what makes it worse is he lost to a girl. Go figure.

Post makes no sense....he lost....I understand that he can't win 'em all...why can't you...Ko is your boy, he lost to a great player........it wasn't SVB, ( I think that would kill you) so I think you should be able to live win this little bump in the road....and hopefully troll in other waters

Korr is another KO (Knockout) !
Folks forget that based on Fargorate (Disclaimer: Fargorate is not 100% accurate) , Corr is above about 30 players or 25% of this field. Above guys like Felicida, Adam King, Matt Krah, Ivica Putnik, So Shaw, Frankie Hernandez, Mike Wong
If Corr had lost to someone like Nicholas Brucato (Fargorate 600) that would be bigger upset than Corr losing to Ko but folks would probably think it is normal if Corr loses to Brucato

That's excatly what I'm thinking ,, didn't the women play a lot of 9 on the spot turneys ,, seem like I remember them making the one in the side on a regular basis

Ko has controlled break that usually has shot on 1. Probably before he figured out the new accu rack and the break, Corr stopped him at 4 by either B&R many racks or playing great safes to keep him seated

His next opponent is Billy Thorpe (Fargo 750 much higher than Korr's 716). He has to win 11 straight matches just to get to final which is very tough ask cos in later matches more and more monsters will show up. So far the early losers on losers side looks like easy pickings.

Not many people know this but Ko was at a phychological disadvantage from the get go because Karen used to babysit him and his little brother.
