By and large Danny is a technical commentator , he does not have much knowledge about current players . Jay is no longer TD song should replace Danny
They should have bring in players to guest star so players can give better overview of playing conditions from Perspective of player

Teacherman...I mean no disrespect....but I bought your stream for the Bergman/Shaw match. Your play by play/commentary was mediocre at best. I truly believe it takes a lot of talent/experience /personality/humor to succesfully do a commentary play-by-play of any live event.
Danny D gets a lifetime pass with me. He was fantastic for years, especially when he was paired up with Billy Incardona. I know he's getting towards the end....but I still would take DD over damn near anyone else I've ever heard in a pool broadcast/stream.

I feel the same way. I will add, not only was he fantastic... he is still fantastic. I like knowing Danny is going to be commentator when I am watching.
Be careful what you wish for. You lose Danny D and have to listen to this guy Billy doing the Majid/Davis match....good luck. Danny is great and knows about pool and life.

I dont think that guys commentating was bad at all but he has to figure out how to quit breathing so loud into the microphone.

I like Danny. The commentary is a little slow but Danny is still very insightful. And $45 for five days of world class pool with a Hall of Famer commentating is a hell of a value.

Took the words out of my mouth. Majid/ Davis match was irritating. Some games he barely called a shot. Brutal.
Having read many similar threads and having watched and listened to many, many, many Accu-Stats productions, I believe that for every viewer that likes DD there are probably two that don't. My personal opinion is that it is time for some new blood in the booth.
And the comparison of a local production, by a room owner just starting to offer some interesting match ups via stream, and what is generally considered to be the state-of-the-art in pocket billiards streams -- Accu-Stats -- from the US Open, is more than a little unfair.

I love DD, but when he starts calling Mark Billy instead, for 2 hours he did this, I start to worry.
