I like to play this great game as much as I can, but I
find it best after a few (or 6 or 8) beers.......What say
you, AZB main forum regulars?

PS: My other question is.....do these damn things taste
great or are they less filling????? I'm leaning towards less
filling.

Id rather smoke an entire pack of export green in 20 minutes than chew that.
I almost feel like shipping you some good beer, can't believe people drink that stuff.. :)

I know what you mean.....I used to say that Miller Light was just
Milwaukee's Best in a different can (bottle). But now that I'm an
experienced drinker I know I was wrong.....as are you. This is
without a doubt a great light beer.

Note: I love full flavored beers, such as Dos Equis or Sam Adams
Boston Lager, but I've reverted to watching my girly figure and have
come to realize that Miller Light is superior to my old favorite (Coor's
Light).

Sam Adams Boston is a good choice. :) I'm north of the border and I'm lucky enough to have micro breweries everywhere that brew all kinds amazing ales, pilsners, lagers and even IPA's.
If your into cheaper lite beer Busch lite is probably the best bang for your buck if your looking to pound a dozen.

Cheers! lol

I have to have a couple of 'pops' myself when running racks....since I'm a bar player I usually take 4 shooters of whiskey and then just sip on a beer.

Economical and works wonders.

Cheers

If you like Cervezas try out either Bohemia Clasica or Negra Modelo!!!

Watchin the waste line, hommie, it certainly seems that I'd
like to dabble into some of those, though:)

I love a good beer anytime. Key being good. Thankfully the place I play has 10-15 taps of delicious and varrying micro-brews. Lots of Wisconsin favorites as well as stuff from other regions. My preference is for very hoppy IPAs and pale ales, not big on malty beers lately.

I thought you said you liked to drink Beer when you play pool? Sorry, as a card carrying beer snob, Miller Light is not beer.

I enjoy combining those two pastimes more times than not. There is a pool hall/brewpub in Atlanta that used to be called Twains Cue & Taps, now Twains Brewpub & Billiards, that allows you to do enjoy some great beer while you shoot.

Usually have some Southern Tier IPA, Old man winter, or pumking where I play.

Feels like I am terrible at pool until I've had a few drinks, by the end of the night I am in stroke, loose and confident. I'd like to be able to play like that without drinking. :(

Most hard liquor has about the same "calories" as Miller Lite per alcoholic content... Plus drinking any alcohol promotes weight gain by slowing down your metabolism.. Sorry for the bad news. I'll shut up now... :duck:
