I see all the info and hoopla about the RFID chips in cues to identify, etc... But that seems kind of silly to me. I am trying to find out if there is such an item to TRACK or FIND a stolen cue? Something similar to "LoJack" for cars. Obviously, it would have to be small enough to hide under the bumper, under the joint collar, etc.... But not require outside power. Does anyone know of anything like this?

I have no experience with this product, but Richard Black's website references this company.

Best utilized IN loved ones? Wow, you must really want to keep track of them.

Outsville has been in contact with 3 of the bigger manufacturers of gps trackers and we are 1st in line when the next gen micros come out. Looking like end of 2016 before u will see something small enough and strong enough to work for pool

In my area our GPS was catch someone stealing a cue, case, or air barreling, was to take them outside beat the hell out of them and maybe cut a finger or two off. You'd be surprised how everyone gets the idea not to steal there. Johnnyt

Count me in for one when you figure it out, Chris.

I grew up and made my bones with Cornbread, Rosie, and Jew Paul in a little place called The Rack, just outside of Detroit.... and your RIGHT... that's the way we handled it then, and it WORKED! However, I'm in Atlanta now and play in a legit and legal poolhall where there is a lot of "traffic" in and out all the time. I ALWAYS look out for my cues/stuff.... but there's always a possibility of something "walking away". I would like to be able to FIND it, then of course, handle it the correct way for the situation.

I use Tagg now known as Whistle. Its about $100 for the tracker, it is meant for dogs. It is small and the monthly cost is $10 for it. They have an app also and you can track in real time. Battery life is 4-5 days roughly. Not small enough for a pool cue but for a pool case it would work.

I know when my phone is using gps, the battery dies quicker than any other time. So how would a gps tracker work in a pool cue? You'd have to have it on all the time since you don't know when your cue will be stolen. What are you supposed to do, charge the battery every day? I'm just not seeing it as feasible with the current technology, or even near-future technology.

I was thinking the same thing. Don't know how it would work.
