You-tube ripping us off must read

As far as Youtube specifically, it's absolutely AWESOME for pool. I just got a bunch of new players playing based on the fact that I can show them a Florian Kohler video and then one of Efren and then one of Shane on my phone Youtube app. It's working, and working well. Find another way.

My 2 cents.

We did find another way. And it's working well. What's cool? Is it's private and requires no middle persons stealing the spotlight.

The original message/post emphasized full length matches. YouTube will always be a great place for billiard videos, especially since a lot of them are snippets of personal endeavors, trick shots, and exhibition.

Then how come your chat video you posted last night just spinned trying to find your server? And I checked, all other sites I went to worked just fine. Even YouTube.

We were offline for a bit and restarted with different software since we were having problems with everyone hearing each-other. If you buffer for 8 seconds, you should have been seeing Erica's Hustler video, and then a retry for the live stream (repeat).

For the OnDemand? THe 1080p version isn't optimized for streaming, please select 720 and 360 from the (HD) button, just like YouTube. :)

keep dreaming buddy, the only people that would pay to watch pool is other pool players.

Even then, we're talking about a small percentage of players that actually give enough of a shit to watch pool on the internet.

And guess what. Pool players are cheap. They aren't going to pay to watch one of their peers do what they do everyday.

But again, you missed the point. LOL... Re-Read the original post again.

Worst. Thread. Ever. Taking a fork to the eye would have been less painful !!

Oh there's much worse here on AZ :) At least here in this thread is actual discussion on how to accomplish something that can be a revenue stream for many things, instead of selling out all the players on YouTube for mere recognition, then claiming it's all for pool. That is laughable. If we stopped today adding videos to YouTube, the videos they've amassed would suffice for the next 100 years for the public's enjoyment.

With all the background images and wallpaper of repeated images of crazyerica sticking her tongue out, your site is very confusing on where I need to be to view.

Also, call me a skeptic when someone states they have 10,000 members and 100,000s of views. All I can think about is the Inside Pool streams where it showed they had 600,000 views in a day.....or better yet, Bonus Ball saying they had 750,000 views on the first night of their stream and I bet no more than 750 people watched.

You mean you are trying to take my user base and viewer base and subscriber base from me. This is MY network I built through YEARS of extensive hard work. It doesn't matter if you go down to Texas to make 2 streams a year unless you are working on doing streams every weekend leaving your family you will never achieve any type of results like I have.

I've been a conceptual genius since we started Zach, I've done all the streaming for the most part 90% of it. I know what works and I know what doesn't. I know you are a great coder and good website designer. I already have the 5000 videos in my Netflix of pool library and a great start on a membership base. You ARE NOT in any way shape or form going to start a secondary subscription business and expect to charge people for your side of the network and then my platform in addition. I already told you I want to revenue share but you want to be a jackass and keep splitting up the traffic.

This post would of much better suited bringing up the previous thread we had years ago the principals are still the same instead of ranting and yelling like crazy.

Now if you excuse me you lovely peopleI gotta drive 6 hours to produce a 3 day stream for $100.

Mike, your stuff is old news. This is something new. I'm glad what you and I had developed is paying you some cash. Off to bigger fish to fry my friend.

Oh and since your co host called me stupid and an idiot (which in case you didn't realize and I can only assume you don't since you were so proud to post the link here -- that is not the best way to convey a message to people) --- anyways, if he ever would like to take an IQ test for $1000 a point, let me know. We can stream that too.

Ok, all bullshit aside, you really think having Jason Hunt associated with your business is a good decision?

Oh well. It's attention savvy, and I think we did a great job of conveying a very important message. There are some positive posts in this thread, so I'll concentrate on those for now. Feel free to chime in when you feel violated again.

Jason is a very opinionated individual with great ideas. In business, personalities don't make decisions. Actions do. :)

With this monster you're trying to make.. do you have any advertising revenue yet? Imo, you're taking on the end boss without working your way there.

Edit: if you need some recognition, i offer reasonable advertising rates myself.

I can't believe some of you guys. Erica is just looking out for the benefit of pool players, and has come up with one of the best ideas in a long while. I haven't seen something this game changing since the jump cue was invented.

Erica,

I would love to make a contribution to your cause. What's your paypal?

Thank you!

Actually there are several websites we host that pay a lot of the server side stuff. I'm also anxious to get a few pool rooms online with instant broadcast quality HD streaming which will start generating a-lot of content. I'm excited!

Actually ISPM has had several 1m videos in their YouTube, secondly, Alvin has done the unthinkable, and has been pretty successful with his 'middle man out' production with Roku. Many billiard streamers are looking for alternatives in live stream to cut out the middle persons. Getting closer to the tree is the objective for the next steps to have a successful outcome in all aspects of live billiard streaming. And one of those aspects is having enough funds to pay players out of the fat trimming. But for now, the pipe dream isn't so far fetched with huge changes and advancement of content delivery for videos.

Since all the streaming geniuses are here in one place - can one of you tell me how to get YouTube from muting or blocking my stream cause of background music from the jukebox? Do I need to host on my own platform or is there a way to fight it? The song already got paid for when it played on the jukebox.

With your website and utilizing our streaming CDN, you won't ever have to worry about background music in the videos. :)
