The WPBA just posted its Top 16 players on Facebook. The prior 3rd ranked player, Karen Corr is not on the list. Karen is no longer a member of the WPBA. Too bad they couldn't hang on to a BCA HOF player!

Yeah what happened? Saw the Masters list and no mention of her...????
Beats big Ko and they ban her?? Haha

Those are 2015 Rankings

She's there on the website list at #3: http://www.wpba.com/player-info/current-player-rankings.html

And she is still on the list according to the downloadable PDF under the archives tab: http://www.wpba.com/images/pdfs/2015_WPBA_Ranking_Post_Mt_Pleasant_MI_Revised.pdf

She's also on the list of exempt players and her bio is still in the player profiles. Strange.

Trust me on this. Karen is no longer a member of the WPBA and is not on their 2016 ranking list.

More than likely someone didn't get their dues in on time. How many events will she miss because of it?

Lol! But it's a shame. They really had it going for a while.

True, I used to enjoy going to their Midwest events. Went to the two at Palace Billiards in Villa Park which was about 1.5 miles from my place, then went to a couple down in East Peoria, and then a few over in Michigan City (a real sh!t hole of a place). Wish they had moved to more metropolitan locations, like back when they were in Villa Park.

I used to always go to the one in East Peoria, it was a lot of fun and much better than watching it on TV.

Not Bad WPBA

Two of the three arguably best female players that ever wielded a cue have quit the WPBA since its inception. That would be Jean Balukas and Karen Corr. Better not piss Allison Fisher off!

I don't understand why girls all over the world would pay dues, and play in regional tours, to try and qualify for a dead WPBA tour that has almost zero events anymore.

Be a different story if you were paying dues and they had tons of tournaments lined up like in the past.
But if they can't provide that, why play and why pay?

I'm sure it is because Karen is playing TS instead of the WPBA. Johnnyt

But the WPBA event is their Regional Tour Championships, not one of their "pro" events. Has Corr ever played in that? Is she even eligible for it?

Wow

Karen is not eligible for the regional event as well as any other top pro's.

Doesn't matter though as Karen quit the WPBA. Why do people keep coming up with other reasons?

She quit...
