(but HE'LL be the one whining and crying to Wilson about individuals "picking" on him or PMing about posts made in response to HIS trolling harassing posts for warnings and bans.
 
English I was in no way implying false advertisement. I am a supporter the system and am a fully satisfied customer. While other systems may not have used the term objective, they aren't free of other marketing terms. Some are marketed for their simplicity even though they are far from that, while others are marketed as the most accurate. Why not attack those.

I'm NOT 'attacking' anything.

Again you seem to be trying to justify one wrong by the wrongs of others.

That is a fallacious argument.

Also some of what to which you refer is purely opinion based on subjectivity.

The issue here is NOT like those. It is concrete.

'This' has been going on for what has been said 18 years. I & Dan White are rookies.... as are you.

We're merely pointing out that things that have been said are inaccurate...

or asking for LOGICAL answers or explanations to support what certainly seems to be inaccurate & have been determined to be so, yet...an open mind can be convinced otherwise... hence questions.

It has been said by some that the description of 'objective' is not important at all & basically irrelevant.

Well then, why is it so vehemently 'defended' to the point of ongoing vitriolic personal "attacks" made on nearly everyone that merely points out that it is not such?

Dan White just asked questions & did not even make the definitive statement that you just made earlier.

Keep making the statement that you have & see for yourself. No... don't do that.

I have confronted others things that have been said in other areas that are inaccurate.

Please don't try to make it look like this is my only... whatever.

The truth should be made known whenever possible.

You've said it. Why or won't others do the same?

If they believe what they do then they should not say otherwise.

It then becomes an issue of some sort of misunderstanding.

That is usually what disagreements are about...

a misunderstanding by one party or the other.

Logic usually is the solution to many misunderstandings.

Science is logical.

I sincerely hope you can see & understand what I'm saying here.

Nearly 2/3 on personal vitriol that can not have ANY good effect on ANYTHING.

Is that not one of the definitions of trolling.

I stumbled onto something that I thought might perhaps bring some light to what might have been the subject of some possible misunderstanding.

I opened the thread & asked a question.
 
QUESTION FOR THE FORUM:

There are a few individuals on here who continue to throw out the words "LOGIC" and "SCIENCE" as if it's the solution to everything pool related but especially aiming.

What do you think THEIR background is regarding LOGIC?

a. Ph.D. in Logic and Science

b. Degreed in Logic and taught classes

c. Took one semester in college on Logic

d. Read a book from the library on Logic

e. Googled "Logic" on the internet and copied some half baked paragraphs to quote

f. Took three years of physics. Two in high school and one in college, and have a near genius IQ

g. Stumbled upon Logic accidentally while surfing the internet.

h. Overheard a conversion about Logic at a social event.

I. none of the above - just like the sound of the word to throw out every other sentence to make it seem like they're the only ones with Logic and anybody else who doesn't agree with them has NO Logic

Maybe Relativity ?
Are pool balls really round ? When they collide, don't the compress ? So, they're no longer round .
What if we imagine the stroking line as a worm hole ? Will it make pocketing easier ?
When does the stroke start ? From the hand or the brain ?
Do balls spin more above the equator or below ?

Here's a better solution instead of removing FOUR OR FIVE individuals.

REMOVE ONE, ENGLISH!!! (maybe two but I won't mention any names or "initials") ONE vs. FIVE IS FAR MORE LOGICAL!!

(I have training in LOGIC. I read BUNKHOUSE LOGIC a number of years ago which gives me far more credibility than a certain someone on here. http://www.amazon.com/Bunkhouse-Logic-Ben-Stein/dp/0380785439)

English I went to the table and tried to see if the 1/2 ball you described in post one had any correlation with CTE. I first set up several cut shots and found the CTE Line for each. I wasn't able to see how the 1/2 ball visual would be usable with CTE. I then tried to line up a few cut shots and tried to figure out the system. The closest I came to figuring it out was maybe left edge of mini circle to COB, right edge of mini circle to RE of OB. I was able to make a couple very thick cut shots without a pivot. Anything more than that seem to require a pivot of some sort, but I couldn't determine how much for each circumstance. Without more detail I don't really understand how it relates to any pivot based aiming system.

I can see how it might be applied, but that was not really my question & I would not think that you would be one that would have had the answer.

But since we are in contact, have you shot the infamous 5 shost & made them all using the same ETA & inside pivot?

I won't ask you the normal question related to those given your 'courageous' statement that you made earlier.

But... IF you have shot & made them with the same ETA & inside pivot...

what would YOU attribute that you did differently for each shot & what do YOU think on which it was based.

Wouldn't surprise me if that is just what you are after. You already have one closed, another one that should be closed, and then there is this one. Trying to make history and get the most threads closed in one day? Just what was your intention when you started it? I have been very civil, unlike you with your name calling all the time.

Oh I'm not going to mess with "the logician".
I don't get into word fights with those who act out like little boys.
This one is very skilled at getting a rise out of people, though. I gotta' admit that. :smile:
