I'm just guessing,but I would say it's the sound of the balls hitting each other, like the sound when you crack an egg.:scratchhead:

Not sure what it means either Bill, but if your ever in PA for the wkd. Shoot me a text & I`ll crack your eggs, over easy, scrabbled, sunnyside up, whatever way you want them buddy. I`ll even throw in some cured bacon & biskits to boot. But you have to take it easy on me on the pool table, I`m old remember.
