I don't think we got any proof. Dennis won the 14.1, which isn't an MOT event, and Dennis lay second in MOT until getting passed by SVB's 9-ball win (if it's true that SVB did come in 2nd).

I still think it's a toss-up.

Put it on hard times tight table long races I'm not so sure Do is not the favorite in any game but one pocket

Tight pockets....you mean like a snooker table? We know he can't play on one of those. Hard Times where Alex torched the field and then beat Scott Frost (yes one pocket) out of 20K in a few hours.

Dennis is a good player. Alex is special.

Your right we know like Corey he can't win anything outside his country in snooker ,, to say Dennis is a good player and Alex is special just shows your ignorance to DOs ability you might want to do a google check yourself DO has many times been called the best money player on the planet , I would say now Shane has that title , but we will find out here shortly when the meet for 100gs in the middle

I have Alex 5th in long set 10 ball ,, Shane , Dennis , Ko , Shaw , Alex , and now that I think about it might be lower cause there's Wu and Yang to consider also , Wu starts playing long sets he might just be the best of the best

Alex and Dennis are friendly rivals so the chance of them matching up for money is small, unless someone posts the money to see this game. They have a lot of respect for each other, as they are at the top of the food chain in the Philippines. I've never seen them match up in all the trips I've made over there. That is not to say they haven't played, but it has not been as frequent as one might expect. ALL the Filipinos like to play against each other, even if it's in cheap games/races (like 5,000-10,000P -- $100-200). That's how they keep their games sharp, constantly battling for supremacy in their homeland and the respect that comes with it.

Dennis has lamented to me for the last couple of years how hard it is for him to get games when he's at home. That's why he's spending more and more time over here. At least here he can play a lot of tournaments and find some action as well. If they were to play an All Around, my opinion is that it would be very close and could go either way. There is no clear cut favorite.

I think someone has crossed wires. The thread started as who would win an all-around (9b, 1p and banks) and you keep responding to people favouring Alex's chances in the all-around with how Alex would do against Dennis in a long race in 10 ball. Even if you switched 9b with 10b, you are addressing a different thing - long races in one rotation game.

Gideon<--- pretty sure Alex can win at snooker in many countries, just not against the world's top players

You are stuck on 10ball (which he could win). The original post was all around. Nevertheless. Remember when Alex came back on SVB from almost 30 down? Dennis would have sulked in his chair and lamented about how lucky Shane was. Alex saw a little air and pounced. That's why he's called the lion. That's why he's "special". Kind of like Jose vs Efren.

Well thanks Einstien for pointing that out , I made a statement about 10 ball long sets but now that I have thought about it more ,I think if all the games posted are long sets for big cash I think Do out runs the nuts for the cash

Alex AND muzzle if I could vote twice.

One thing about alex that I really like, he doesn't go into give-up mode.
He can be down 30 racks in a long race and still fighting.
Playing for hours and under money pressure is fine with him.

Dennis likes that too I guess, but sometimes it seems like he can get in a funk
and let a player get in his head a little. He shoots unbelievably straight
but if you see him in the last few racks of recent matches with shane,
he misses some shots he'd normally drill 100 times in a row.

If alex does the same thing, I can't remember the last time I saw it.
