It'd be a lot cooler if you did.

GC IV pro 8' with brand new Simonis 760 or 860 color of my choice delivered and set up for $2695. Is this a good deal?

You're not getting robbed with delivery, cloth and installation. But be sure the table is in good condition and you are satisfied the guy doing the installation knows what he is doing.

Yup!

Sounds like a good deal to me. A friend has one and I like shooting on it. I think it would be even better, at least for me if they had the same pocket size of a typical Diamond table.

Are you guys missing the fact that it's an 8' table? Seems pretty steep for an 8', I've seen 9' GC's for less than that.

I paid significantly less for mine, knock down/ move/ setup...with aramith super pros an 6 dufferins. Without new cloth.

That's more than I would pay.
And I would Certainly be getting a 9 footer if you have room.

Don't buy a Gandy....hold out for a gold crown 9 foot. Avoid Gold Crown III.

You can get a 9 foot gold crown for 800 to 1200 now. You can disassemble and move it with a buddy or 2. Then have it setup with new cloth for about 500 total. You can get into a table for under 2k.

8 foot table doesn't play the same as a 7 or 9 footer. Position zones entirely different.

IMO if you have enough room for a 9 ' table that should be your first choice. You should be able to find one for the price you are paying for the 8' table.

Its just what I found in my area. Im sure if I keep searching Ill find a 9 in good shape. I did find a Gandy Big G 9' for $1200 in good shape too.

Hold off, be patient, and find a nine foot Gold Crown. It's not like you're exactly stealing this eight footer. ;)

OK cool Im not in a big hurry right now. I have the money to jump on a deal but I dont want to screw myself. I

Just buy one privately, move it and get the best person available to install it. Make sure the rails are in good condition, no slate issues. Best to buy one that's setup so you can see how it plays and you will know you have all the parts. You can't go wrong with a gold crown 1 for a grand...they will outlast all of us.

I really hope I can find one for this price. Especially a GC I. I just havent seen anything less than 1500 and most of those are GC3

Where are you at? Somebody here will likely know about one.

I never liked how GC III played. ..most players don't like them.

Most people selling a table will accept offers...I've had 5 tables in my life and they all came cheap.

Good luck with your search. Your game will go up dramatically with a table home.
