Interesting cue on ebay

Like I said, I'd give $700 for one of my old buddies' cues, but they are not for sale. The purchaser probably slept very well last night.

That's insane. The guy or gal that bought that needs to get their eyes checked, maybe even a brain scan... then come read this thread.

Whoever the buyer is, tell them to please come to my local pool hall. I have a Lucasi that was owned and played with by Willie Mosconi. It rolls a bit, but he used it to win against Minnesota Fats in a big money game once. I even have an LOA written in Crayon by his granddaughter saying it's real and a picture or Willie playing pool. But the picture isn't for sale....

I think it seems a bit much.

I think the question would be whether or not the marketing of it with the "appraisal" helped put the price there and what if any significance that might carry.

Sounds like a great Lucasi. Does it play lights out?

No, it plays jam up. Mosconi was all about that low deflection

As you said, owned by him but did he use it all the time.
I would trust Cornerstones LOA.

When I was working at the State Fair of Texas one year, I had the chance to buy a small side show. It was an old Pan Head Harley.

The sign stated, Motorcycle Made Exclusively for Elvis. At that time, the price was fairly reasonable.

So, I asked the owner, Hall and Christ Shows, more. He said, sure, the Harley was built for Elvis. He just never owned it.

But then, Carnies can be quite tricky sometimes.

I'm not a cue collector by any stretch, but if I did have that one, I would take it out on occasion for a few games. I like certain Mueccis'

Never know, Billy might have helped me out a bit. I need all the help I can get some nights.
