Is anyone on here close friends with jjollie?

Hopefully this nightmare will be forgotten soon. I should have been more patient.

I can't speak for the man but you might be able to still salvage this deal if you want to. A PM along these lines might do it.

"I am sorry I jumped the gun a bit on trying so hard to contact you instead of waiting for a response when not much time had yet elapsed. I am also sorry for showing a lack of trust when not only did you not give me any reason for any concern but based on our previous deals and your extensive and stellar iTrader I have every reason to have full trust in you. By nature I am a nervous person with trust issues and sometimes that gets the best of my decision making in the heat of the moment when I am having irrational worries. If you would reconsider doing our deal again I would like to go ahead and ship out my side of the trade and then provide you the tracking information. You can ship out your side after you get the tracking information, or even after you have received the items--your choice. Thanks for your consideration and I understand and respect if you still choose not to go through with the deal and once again I apologize for any aggravation and just know that it wasn't done in mean spirit. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks, Justin"

This thread made my day, hella entertaining:p

Nope. Very little upside, if any upside at all. I'd walk away from the deal, as well. And that's having 30+ years of sales and customer service experience. The cue will find a good home, and he won't be stalked by the buyer. Win/win for jjollie.

Sometimes, the answer of "no" is the best one.

Okay, so you have over 30 years in the business. How often has it taken you longer then 24 hours to reply to an email? I did not hear back from him for around 36 hours. He said that he received my 1st PM, but was too busy to reply back to me. I was not trying to stalk the guy. I just wanted to give him a call (1 call). That is all. What is the big deal? I just wanted to make sure we were still all good on our trade agreement. Most business people have cell phones on them at all times, and for me, when I receive a PM, it goes to my email, and then I get alerted directly to my cell phone. Are some people really so busy that it takes them over a day to take a minute to reply to an email or PM?

Sorry, but, in my opinion, you screwed up. No need to go on the offense, it's all on you.

Own your mistakes, and hopefully learn from them.

It's so unfair to say "you're so busy you can't respond to a pm for 24 hours". Here's why, some people are busy, really busy. It's not that it doesn't enter the mind but you're driving or having dinner with wife, or in the middle of a project and you think "I'm gonna respond after I'm done with X" and then you forget. It's not like the guy forgot for a week, it was 1.5 days.

And, I don't allow someone who thinks they have unlimited access to me and my time to get it. When someone is constantly pestering me, they move to the bottom of my to do list. The squeaky wheel doesn't get grease from me.

When is the last time it took me longer than 24 hours to reply? Hmm....there was the day I was in a car accident. Calls didn't get returned that day, and neither did emails. When my kids were born, I took the day off. 3, in fact. I also have these things my company gives me called vacation days. I usually don't reply to messages for at least a week when those happen. My kids are sick every so often, so I may take a bit to reply as well.

Dude, your need for attention and validation is scary. People have lives. Breathe in, breathe out. You singlehandedly screwed a good deal for yourself because you have the patience of a 12 year old girl. And you want to say that we're the problem?

Bwahahahahahahahaha. I almost feel like working out a deal with jjollie on the cue you wanted, and I'll use it as my break cue. And I'll put the picture on my profile. Hey, jjollie....how much did you want for the cue he was trading with you? Send me some pics.

Same as I posted in the "give league $ to support the pros" thread.......FOR THE LOVE OF GOD STOP TALKING!!!!!!

YOU'RE WELCOME
Jason

there sure is an awful lot of drama surrounding all of your purchase attempts here lately.

in the long explanation above, you didn't address the real problem that was shared by your seller a few posts ago and that seems to have become a *common thread* with you.

Your "trust issues".

best,

And my circle of people that I would buy/sell/trade with on AZBilliards has just been reduced by one. I tend to like a small amount of maturity and common sense in my business partners.

Yes.Some people actually get off their phones and do stuff for relaxation and also have pretty demanding jobs.

This thread reminds me of an old David Allen Coe song............

Ive got a heater in my truck, and I dont give a fook, cause Im off to the rodeo.....

On another note.....

'How much is a Custom that was used as a 'chew toy' by someones Pit Bull' worth ?' Any ideas? I really like this cue but it's chewed.

Have a good day

-Kat,

-Kat,

I agree that the threads and posts can get tiresome, and that some are silly or have obvious answers (to me). But lately at least (I think it may have been a little different in the past but can't recall for sure if it was him or not) all he is really doing is trying to learn, even if they are awful basic and sometimes borderline silly questions. I would rather deal with fifty guys on the forum who are trying to learn, even if they asks tons of questions and silly ones at that, over even one guy who is here to just endlessly plug the product he is selling or even just one guy that doesn't know what he is talking about half the time but insists on passing off his misinformation to everyone else as the absolute gospel truth and absolutely refuses to ever be willing to listen to any evidence that says he could be wrong.

As far as this particular thread, no, he didn't handle the situation the best way. But it is obvious the guy has some deep rooted issues that most of us don't have and that are likely at least partially out of his control. I try to keep those things in mind when reading the posts and threads. Just my thoughts and I could possibly have it pegged all wrong although I would be surprised if it were totally wrong.
