Allison Fisher Playing LIVE

Looks like her name is Guo Szu-Ting, 25th on the FargoRate list for women (whereas Allison is 20th).

[Alternate spellings I have found: Kuo Szu-Ting, and Guo Siting (if they are all the same person)]

I'm not quite sure what the breaking rules are, but I've seen Allison Fisher have an illegal break twice (in a row, I think).

On both occasions, she has made the one ball in the side and put two balls back up table beyond the side pockets.

I guess it must be three balls up table or something of the sort.

Perhaps the EuroTour "three-point rule," whereby at least 3 balls must either be pocketed or reach (any part of the ball) the headstring.

Looks like Allison has her hands full.

Make that THREE illegal breaks in a ROW. This time three balls were past the side pocket and she made the one ball in the side.

I think none of the balls ever are hitting the head rail.

I think she made two balls, but none reached the headstring. But she won the game! 5-4 Kuo.

The balls are probably required to go past the headstring

Tie ball game 5-5. Kuo missed a not-so-hard 5/9 combo and Allison got it with a carom from 5 to 9.

Thanks..I was wondering what was going on. 5-5 as I type. Got us a cat fight.

Boy, things must be getting really boring around AZB, when we are reduced to watching the fair ladies trying to hit the balls hard enough to make a legal break! :boring2:

Call me old fashioned Eye-man, but I've always thought a woman's place is in the kitchen! (and I don't mean behind the 'head string') ;)

LMFAO! I agree.

I think I can beat either one of them.

I'd rather watch bangers than watch 9-ball players that play this slow.

After a protracted safety battle, Allison ran out from the 4-ball to win the match 7-5 (after being down 3-5).

Is there a list of runner for this event somewhere?
All ways interested in who enters this tournament

Do you read Chinese? http://www.videoland.com.tw/event/20160401/game02.asp

Looks like they are down to the quarterfinals now (8 players) with one of the matches being Allison Fisher vs. Kelly Fisher.

New Taipei City is 12 hours ahead of USA east coast, so, if I am reading it correctly, the remaining matches are at the following times (USA east coast):
• Quarterfinals -- 11 pm tonight and 1 am tomorrow (Sunday) morning, races to 9
• Semifinals -- 3 am tomorrow morning, races to 9
• Finals -- 5:15 am tomorrow morning, race to 11

Thank you for the 'heads up' HEye. Quality is superb :groucho:

Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's out there !
