Albin doesn't have anything to prove. That's not what this thread is about.
I am just curious if he gambles or not.
Shane nor any other American player hasn't the remotest idea about my interest in seeing Albin gamble one-on-one and I'm not sure he would want to gamble with Albin or not. I enjoy tournaments as much as the next guy but I just enjoy seeing players compete one-on-one in gambling matches.
Albin just won World 9 ball showcasing to the world but he still has to showcase his skills in some gambling match
That only makes Shane look bad and look like sore loser coming so soon after his loss.
True.
Silly really cos these people are only magnifying the loss and making Shane look like sore loser. What Shane wants now is time off and go fishing to forget this ordeal
Celtic,
It's kind of funny that you think promoting one-on-one gambling matches is absurd. Are you one of those anti-gambling guys?
I genuinely have no problem with players not gambling, even players here in the U.S.A. But I do know there are some European players who enjoy gambling and it would be fun to see them on FIGHT NIGHT on PoolActionTv.com
WITH ANY AMERICAN PLAYER.

The more absurd thing about Joey's comment there was that he thought Albin would actually need some nobody on AZBilliards to let him know that SVB happens to gamble at pool and would likely accept a match against Albin if he were so inclined.
Albin and SVB play in about 6 or so of the same events every year and have ample chances to chat with each other and match up. Neither guy needs the AZB Match Maker Corps to help aid them in setting something up if they decide they want to play.
Albin can get in touch with SVB a hell of a lot easier then most of the peanut gallery here on AZB.

Another European player I would like to see on FIGHT NIGHT on
www.poolactiontv.com is Karl Boyes. Karl has an awesome game and a match with him playing another American one-on-one would be a big hit imho.
If you don't enjoy gambling matches I can understand that too. But that doesn't mean that some of us don't enjoy the one-on-one matches for cash.
And if a player doesn't gamble, it doesn't mean that he or she isn't as skilled as a player who does gamble. Gambling one-on-one is just another twist in competing that some of us enjoy.
I suppose I like playing in tournaments probably more than gambling because I don't enjoy taking other people's money in one-on-one matches as much as I like beating a half dozen players in the same time period. But that's just me.
This thread isn't meant to suggest that Albin isn't a better player than Shane or any other American player if he doesn't gamble.
This is a billiard forum and people talk about all kinds of things, including gambling one-0n-one matches.
So does Albin gamble or not? Maybe no one really knows and that's okay too.
