Really? Update to a week later...HUNDREDS of confirmed cases in FL...from Miami to Tampa. Guess your estimate was a little off.

Your odds of winning the super lottery while being struck by lightening at the same time are better than you contracting Zika.

Four "suspected" cases out of 20M Floridians. It's just another vaccine sales pitch.

Miami Beach Mayor Says 'Zika Threat Continues to Grow,' as More Mosquitoes With Zika Found

I guess what I don't get is (at least on the amateur side anyway for this event) when there's a 'full field' with a waiting list for over a month and a half out in time from the event and a player (family) chooses not to risk the CDC and WHO's Miami travel advisory warning to not travel to Miami, why should the TD punish the players by not refunding their prepaid entry?

There are players inline (on the waiting list) to take the place of a player wishing to protect their family... For us amatuer players pool isn't how we are making a living.. its an option. We are the people who are actually trying to support pool but with decisions like this (ie not refunds/ or pre paid entry into future events) it makes it hard to justify future support in events (TD's) that throw all caution in the win in the name of PROFIT...

Think about it... who's keeping who's money?? Who's getting paid DOUBLE Entry fee?? ... I've spoken with multiple pro's over the past couple of weeks about this issue all of which couldn't understand why (with a standing waiting list) it necessary to keep anyone prepaid entry money if they could not make the tournament...especially due to this type of 'nation crisis'. Hopefully this issue will be reconsidered by the TD in the near future for those concerned about their families re: the ZIKA Virus issues.

For those that can remember Tunica Miss a couple of years back...re Mosquitoes ..

$30 PPV for 5 days and 4 tables is good deal
Men's Field has about 1.5 dozen monsters and notables that makes it stronger field than recent TS and USBTC
Icing on cake is Earl and Jayson are playing LOLOL

Randy...How dare you post relevant facts regarding the Zika virus? LOL It makes zero sense why VV wouldn't either refund your entry, or give you guaranteed entry into a future event.

There is a Euro event in Belgium and they are not allowed to play in an alternate event if it conflicts with their own. Generally speaking, the Chinese are not going to travel for a 'first time event' in the USA. Would you?

I was meaning Jasmin not Albin, and the women's side of the event. Maybe locking it at 64 stopped some late signings. Funny, I don't even think of the other Ouschan but guess I should now that he won the WPA.

Any updates on the event?

Yeah-It's hot as hell down here and there was someone in the arena who stunk the whole place up. I had to leave 5 minutes after paying.

They have VIP seats for $25/day and bleachers for $15 but u cant see the set up first NOR can you pay the $15 go inside take a look and then decide to come back out and upgrade to the VIP. I almost left at that point and i wish i had.
