76th World 14.1 TV SCHEDULE Day 1-3! Hohmann,Schmidt,Appleton,Immonen,Shaw,Orcullo

What's the point of that rule? Specifically catching a ball that is scratching. What's the harm?

ha! we can move that part of the convo to the 14.1 forum - its one of the many wonderful little "quirks" or the game - there are "reasons" but they might not seem to have a "point" - lol but when you play the game a lot they begin to sort of make sense.

(maybe its from our brains losing brain cells from deciding to focus on such a frustrating variation of billiards haha)

What if it rattled and went and moved some other ball. A better question is *why try and grab the ball*? What is the point? To save 3 seconds reaching into the pocket?

There's no good reason- just frustration.

I saw Rodney Morris make one hell of a break shot, in the same spot Mika was just

Curved off the ball into the stack, incredible

Pool players and snooker players have been complaining about skids for years.

The snooker players caught on a long time ago and asked for the ball to be cleaned.
.....pool players have finally caught up.

And if one of the players is using Kamui chalk....it gets worse.
I know one great player who says Kamui should be banned from all tournaments.
