In the town I live in there is only 2-9 foot tables. TOTAL...Luckily they are Diamonds and we can play them, but other than that you can't find any. Why would it make ANY sense to ban the 7 foot table when it is the predominate table in the US? I would rather sign a petition that says no league pool may be on a table that doesn't roll straight or has dead rails. Also why don't we go ahead and require that all tables use cue balls without magnets. We can go on and on but it isn't good for the game. People playing is good for the game. Doesn't matter what they play on.
You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to pt109 again.

I was talking about countries that are actually relevant in pool.
What would I do at the local bar along with drinking?
Unless you are sending them several million dollars or more along with the signatures then those names wont mean a thing.

Just wondering....what's your plans for the millions of people that play pool on those bar tables....quit playing pool all together? How could that possibly be good for this industry?

I think a BB is fun. Any pool table is fun. I went to an annual Off Road Jeep event in Bradford Pa each year that had a BB in the motel bar. Played for hours with a small group on Fr/I Sat night. One year the table was gone. The party was over. Enjoy whatever the establishment provides. If you don't like the players, the rules, the game...don't play. No pun...but just roll with it.

I support this fully and expect that once outlawed the bar owners will pay to build a wall around each table to remove the offending item from view. Muh.
While I do not speak for the BCA, APA or WPA, i'm pretty sure even if you had 1k signatures, your not going to get them banned. The easy thing to do is just not play on them instead of ruining it for others. While I am not a fan of the bar tables, I don't chastise others for liking them or even playing on them.

Totally agree. Life is too serious to take seriously. But how can all of the tables be removed from the world. The shipping cost would be outrageous. And where would we dump them. A Bar Box is a terrible thing to waste
