Every match I watched the male just about shoots the ball in for there female partner. Showing them where to hit the rail on kicks, and many other BS things that should be not allowed IMO. Hell, some guys, including SVB positioned the CB for them when they have BIH. I mean come on. Some of these women are the top players in the world. They should be able to know what shots and safes to play and sink or swim with there choice. Johnnyt

Its to be expected. Dumb event. Bring on the singles, the real tournaments.
 
Funny thing is, I've noticed that when SVB and Morra told there woman partners what safety to play (multiple rails with the CB), both times the women couldn't execute it.

I would have told them just that, this is what I would do, but please do whatever safety that you're comfortable with.

That couldn't be Johnny, because according to some forum members girls can be just as good as men in pool. The top female pros shouldn't need assistance from the boys.
 
Love Scotch doubles. Me and a friend used to gamble in one hole all the time playing Scotch. We did play no coaching though. We won a lot of cash, mostly due to the fact the other team would be about ready to draw guns on each other after a few games. Their egos and tempers just seemed to always get in their way. :) Damn that was some fun.

No one has said that any woman can play as well as SVB, Dennis or Johnny. And if any of those three were playing with a male second-tier pro, that second-tier pro should take the advice of the top pro -- except that I bet more men would let their egos get in the way instead of taking the advice.

Easy Johnny....you could be sued and labeled these days with all this 'politically' correct BS going on. Especially when it comes to making anything considered 'degrading' or 'insulting' to women.

Me, I love playing with talented women, even if I have to offer a hand or give them a tip :groucho:

This is pretty spot on as far as the men making all decicions and after realizing it was going on it was that much more frusterating watching Morra show Alison fisher what angle she needs w bih on the 8 to run out to the 10 lol but the funny thing was in ga young Kim's match she was the dominating personality calling all the shots and what not I thought that was interesting

GYK is pretty much the boss in everything and her partner was her BF.
 
I didn't get to watch it but it sure seems like some people just want to ***** about anything. Was it extremely slow? Even in Mosconi cup, there is some coaching involved. As long as it was entertaining, just sit back and watch. As far as scotch goes, I like to watch it but hate to play it. However, I bet 60 or 70 per cent of the gambling around here is scotch. Seems like everyone wants to gamble playing it.
 
I actually really enjoyed watching it. I think some communication between team mates is to be expected. I even like that aspect.
 
I wonder how many of the ones that like or don't see anything wrong with it are APA players or such. Johnnyt
