Alcaide's only gonna get one more chance, at most, to close this thing out.
 
Oh no... Alcaide makes a long jump shot on the 2 but then the cue ball rolls into a safety.

He jumps again and almost makes it, leaving Dennis a very thin cut on the 3 into the side.

Lots of land mines left in this rack.
 
10-10 with Dennis breaking.

I think Alcaide missed too many chances to close this thing out.
 
Wow, Alcaide makes a really nice planned kick on the 1 but then gets blocked out on the 2. He goes for the hero shot on the 2 and scratches.

Dennis has BIH for the win.
 
Alcaide is out Dennis wins 11-10 and has a date with his ex doubles partner SVB:thumbup:
 
Poor decision making by Alcaide in those last three games. He should have won that match.
 
Another case of TPA not reflecting the result
Alcaide 905 Dennis 875 but Dennis wins 11-10

Wow what a nail biter match. I feel for Alcaide. Guy seems like a really good sport from what I've seen of him today.

If Dennis doesn't figure the break out, Shane is going to drill him.
 
We're probably not going to get to see Dennis versus Shane if they run that match at the same time as the hot seat match.

I'd much rather see the SVB-Dennis match though.

That's gonna suck.
But, I don't really see SVB outside of Chang.
I don't think Dennis or Shaw can beat him.

Btw, Dennis let Alcaide check his rack a few times.
There is a problem with that template. Looks like you have to push the last ball to get all good.

They have enough slots for alll 4 remaining matches

They should stop this rack your own and change it to ref rack for tomorrow's finals
