Jeremy Jones Commentary

I was watching the Justin Bergman and Danny Smith Fight Night yesterday and I just want to say how impressed I am with the commentary that was provided by Jeremy Jones. It was by far the most value added commentary I have ever witnessed. He just oozed knowledge and experience and damn... he just kept talking, giving nugget after nugget of useful and insightful information. I found myself experiencing withdrawals when he took his dinner break.

Here's to you Double J!

I agree. He is great on the mic. Knowledgeable, well spoken and humble. Adds a lot to the matches he commentates.

He did some of the matches for the last Make-It-Happen event and I really enjoyed listening to what he had to say too. I normally only hear one or two things that I find interesting in a normal Accu-Stats commentary, but with him I felt like I was having an intelligent conversation in my head about what was going on. If he wanted to he could be the heir-apparent to Billy imho.

After hearing him commentate a while back, I was also impressed. Then I convinced myself that he just doesn't have the shot making firepower to hang with the big guns when playing himself -- only to find out that due to his extensive knowledge, he can indeed hang with and even beat some of the big guns in one pocket.

He definitely knows the game and does a great job commentating. I prefer to watch and root for the one pocket players that are more aggressive, like Frost and Chohan, due to the excitement factor, but JJ definitely has a solid game.

I agree wholeheartedly. He is great. I would also like to hear John Schmidt in the booth more. It amazes me how these guys know that a particular shot will lead to a certain result several moves ahead.

I've heard Frost make those comments as well. There are people out there that just live this game and Jeremy is definitely one of them.

Have to agree, I really like JJ's style while commentating. BigTruck's one-pocket streams are well worth the money for the commentary alone. I also enjoy Scott Rabon, on Ray's streams.

Thanks Ray!

JJ is awesome at commentating matches. One Pocket Matches you can't have anyone better than him.

If I were to ever pick a pro that I believe is the best in the booth, Double J is my choice. Honorable mention goes to John Schmidt and Scott Frost.

I agree 100% Jeremy is about as good as there is,and also agree John Schmidt is top-shelf as well.

Bobby Hunter doesn't get a lot of mention either . Tommy D.

I don't think I've ever heard his commentary. Do you happen to know any YouTube matches he is on?

Jeremy Jones

I owned a pool room in New Orleans when JJ was a young man, was always super impressed with his pool skills, manners, and integrity. We need a few dozen more like Jeremy and just maybe pool will start to make a comeback .

I also love jj as a commentator and don't mind watching him mix it up either. I remember a YouTube clip with him n earl arguing and In the comments someone was like who is this jones guy? Lol obviously they weren't to knowledgable about pool considering he's a us open Champion in I believe 9 ball n one pocket.

Ps. Super congrats on ur deep run in the open this year. It was awesome seeing u knock off supposed favorites one after one. At some point people stopped betting against u lol prolly after u cost them a few dollars but still u were super impressive this year and made me glad to see more than one American in the mix deep in our open

I agree that JJ's commentary is awesome and worth the price of the stream.

I think it would be great seeing him play the winner of this match in the next fight night!

Leave it to AtLarge to follow up my point with numerical facts. Not to shabby playing and beating 4 past us open champions before losing to the runner up and winner/best us open player of all time(svb) very impressive mr.jones
