Nothing negative about getting better. Improve your game and the fun continues.

Thanks for taking the time to write those down. I really liked #17. The craziness of a lively pool room can make you forget all about life's worries.

32. The people you thought were great are still good but don't hold the luster of greatness they once did.

This obviously took some thought, a good list. Some of the items go straight to one's heart.

1, 15, 19, and 24 make for a thought provoking quadrangle.

Which makes me really ponder 11.

31. That if you're the best player in your pool hall, then you're in the wrong pool hall.

Known Ability

Last year, I wanted ta go play in Wichita KS at a good friend of mines pool room, it was a handicap event. So being 66 years young  I asked what my handicap was? Well, they told me, Justin Bergman goes to 13 and I get one game on the wire so I go ta 12! So if you keep playing better, that magic word will creep into your life...that TD's use all the time, ''known ability''. That term, will become your saddle. It keeps the whiners/complainers at bay, and does nothing to improve anything else within this scenario.

Welcome to the pool world....:slap:

15:the better you get: getting beat doesn't bother you but making a mistake does
I think this is the most important one. Of course you still want to win, but how you play becomes at least as important. Playing poorly and winning gets mentally chalked up as "could/should have lost".

The more precise you are and making the game TOO EASY to play.

32.the better you get, the more precise you are making the game TOO EASY

Play on 4 inch or less TIGHT POCKETS and then play. This will not only improve your accuracy, but will provide a challenge. Most tables have bucket pockets and is no challenge even playing 15 ball rotation!

69, the better you get the more famous you become. the more famous you are, the more girls let you do anything. like grab them by the pussy.
