This is hard to watch. Albin dogs a safe and US blows a simple out when Rodney misses a simple seven ball. Europe's first error of the Thursday session goes unpunished. yuck!

Europe 2-1.

I don't know him, obviously, but it's hard to believe that Shane doesn't care. What you see as apathy could just be deep frustration.

Personally, I know I play a lot looser for my own money even when the bet is high (by my rookie standards) than when I'm playing for no money and the whole team is counting on me, such as APA Vegas qualifiers. Could be the same holds, on a much larger scale, for Shane.

Nice billiard by Skyler on the 1, followed by a really pure long straight shot off the rail in the next rack! 3-2 USA.

Yup, Skyler position error in rack 5 followed by amiss by Rodney but he flukes a safe and Team USA get the rack for 3-2.

Shaw misses again, and his awful play is very surprising to this fan.

Nice four ball by Rodney but Skyler scratches while pocketing the five. US! Once again, fails to punish an open table missby Europe.

Pretty poorly played match both ways. Neither team deserves to lead, so 3-3 seems a fitting score.

Team Europe Day 3 (Ouschan/Shaw) are currently having problems with Morris/Woodward. This may be the turnaround Team USA needs. :thumbup:
 
Even with the errors, watching Morris and Woodward is completely different than watching anyone else from the US. If it was just those two, we might have a chance. They've got a great attitude and fight in them.
 
We've infected Europe. This is brutal to watch. At least when we were getting shellacked I got to watch one side play good pool. So bad. Taking flyers at the 9 and missing by a mile. About time to turn this off.
 
After a good defensive sequence, Skyler takes a flyer on the three ball and sells out. Jayson blows the shape on the seven and Albin plays safe. Rodney misses a tough seven and Europe gets out 4-3.

Skyler and Rodney both playing terrible but they are still in it.

Europe 4-3.
 
We're getting the rolls today and still losing. I don't and won't insult any of the players/coaches. This is tough to watch though.
 
This was a terrible effort by Europe, but the US was even worse in Match 11.
