there must be one who can beat him at Turning Stone Classic XXVII,but who?
 
He has an interesting match today in Jia Li as his opponent. Would love to see it, she's every bit as tough as Karen Corr with a real killer instinct

The only one at Turning Stone who will beat Jayson Shaw is ....... Jayson Shaw! If he keeps his head about him, he's nearly unbeatable right now.

LOL. Karen Corr will carve up Jia Li into little pieces if they should they happen to meet.

It is arguable whether Jia Li is one of the hundred best women players in the world. She's a rock solid player who has very few wins over the most elite women and who has virtually no high finishes in the toughest women's events.
 
Wait 15 years for Shaw's child to grow and own him.
 
at this moment, in this tourney, ONLY an in form Darren can beat in in form Jayson, and that's still debatable

Corr and Li recently played in the NAPT final. I believe Corr won despite Li's earlier lead. IIRC, it was a painfully slow match.

Yes, I've seen her play live many times and on stream several times, and agree she's a very good player. Still, the achievements you list are nothing to get excited about.

It's a joke that she's even allowed in the Regional tour championship, and calling that a significant title is ridiculous. That's the minor leagues. She has never finished high in a WPBA pro event (SBE was a pro event up to 2001, but has not had elite fields since) nor in any WPA ranking points event, has not taken down any of the top women players in any big spots, and has certainly not shown she can beat any accomplished women or men players more than once in a blue moon.

I know how she plays, have more than likely seen her play more than you, and I may even rate her game higher than you do, but your suggestion that she should be mentioned in the same breath as Karen Corr, holder of dozens of WPBA titles, holder of some men's event titles, and winner over Ko Pin Yi 11-4 just a year ago at the US Open, was either uninformed or misguided.

That's how I see it. Nonetheless, if you practice with her, or even play in the same room as her and see her play day after day, and see a spark in her that she's failed to show in competition yet, I must defer to your opinion, and look forward to seeing her perform against the best in the future.
