What would the rocket's fargo rate be after winning the masters for the seventh time?
Approximately 5.15 x 10^64
Yep, super human that guy.
Not in 9 ball.
Ya that's a good point...if he were a 9 ball player. He's a snooker player and it's incontestably a harder cue sport. If he spent his talent on a pool table instead of snooker he would've been head and shoulders above all.

I totally agree. I don't think the top pool pros are reaching anywhere near the level of play the top snooker guys are. Impossible to compare it but if we could somehow I bet that's what we'd find. In fact, if the snooker crowd could somehow all morph their talents over into pool, it may have made efren look like a soft match. I'm totally serious too.
If he spent time on 9 ball he might become competitive.

Lmao this guys understatement of the year. In the past he's played 9 ball at a competitive level by just spending a minute amount of time learning it...how do you think 9 ball players will fare if they tried their stroke on a snooker table. Just like these guys said about the pay cut, if pool players could play snooker I think they would have already...

he won a gold medal (snooker) in a SEA game's event in the 80s, after learning how to play the game few days before.. and http://www.9ballpool.co.uk/interviews/daryl_peach_240604.html you shld read this.. according to darryl peach, efren won jimmy white and ronnie o'sullivan with his pool cue..tt's something..
Efren Reyes learned to play snooker in a few days.
Efren is a genius. If this is ur argument that all pool players can play snooker...but look at all the examples of snooker players doing well in pool, Chris, Steve Davis, ronnie, drago...

Well it looks like we are 1 for 1.![]()
Id be interested to see what the fargorate would look like in snooker. My guess would be there would be more distance between the players since lower tier pros very rarely beat top tier players. Even amongst the top players, the commentators were saying how Marco Fu hasn't beaten Ronnie in 8 years!
If I remember correctly from what was posted, in 9 ball an A player would expect to lose something like 10-3 or 10-4 to a pro (no idea what the actual number is) based on Fargo rate. The same level of player up against a top pro in snooker would be lucky to lose 10-0. So I'd be wonder how fargorate would handle that, since most amateurs would be lucky to pick up a single frame against pros. Would the number range be higher with a larger gap between groups of players?
Fargo for snooker should be calculated by points won not frames.

And experience a pay cut of about $100k+ per year.
But you keep practicing that 9 ball![]()
