What is an ebonized cue?

I'm thinking the entire butt of the cue is maple and then stained

Ebonized...means painted or stained to a deep black

I have a bosendorf Piano,same finish
it originally sold over $100,000

Painted sounds kinda cheap to the casual observer

but a high quality stain of black produces a beautiful cue
with the play of maple(which many
consider the best playing cue in the world )

Cognoscenti cues are well known for their great play
and over all quality

This particular cue is priced much less than most I have seen

we have one of AZ best sellers so you need fear no funny business

pretty cue,great reputation cue maker
one of the best sellers at a more than fair price

Hi Martin,

I am in Joey' shop twice a month and these cues are amazing. The hit is unbelievable with cues shaft taper. None better.

I don't have to wish you good luck with your sales because these puppies sell themselves.

I just bought a new Cog. I have had over 75 custom cues and decided to get myself what I thought played the best and had the best workmanship so I got another Cog. I had one years ago and the new one I got is even better than the first one. I think Joe Gold has reached perfection in his craft. His cues cost a lot but you get a perfect cue for your money. Absolutely the straightest cue I have ever owned. You just can't go wrong with one of his cues.

I'm sure this is common knowledge to the better informed.

What is the pin thread on these cues?
