Chris made the final 4 in the Open Amateur Division which is a HUGE accomplishment. Soooo close! Nice shooting, sir.

Lyn, who has taken down the Super Senior championship before is trying again, currently alive in the final 4. Rooting for you, sir.

Great showings and congrats to both of you.

best,

that's awesome. do they have a cutoff for the amateur entry as far as skill level? I'm surprised they didn't classify him as a pro, he's just over Fargo 700... seem to remember they wouldn't let Danny Mastermaker (who's about the same) play one year. Not that I'm begrudging Chris his win, the event's tough for anyone.

I believe Shane Winters won it one year?

Josh Roberts is in it this year.

I believe theres a few rules, such as not finish top 16 in such and such event, they're allowed to play.

It was a different Joshua Roberts apparently...reported a couple days ago by someone there.

but whomever this particular "Joshua Roberts" is, he made it to the finals in the pro am beating Jonathan Pinegar & Roberto Gomez along the way. He lost in the final to Billy Thorpe, 6-5 / 6-4.

He apparently has some game. ;)

There were two different Josh Roberts' at the event, unless you physically saw the same person playing the pro am and the amateur? If that's the case I'll need some clarification... thanks.
