The Billiards Congress of America's Hall of Fame annual induction ceremony is coming up at the end of this year.

Two categories have been established in the Billiard Congress of America's Hall of Fame. The Greatest Player category is reserved for outstanding players who have been active in national or international competition for at least 20 years and have won at least one national or international championship. The Meritorious Service category is reserved for those who have made lasting, memorable and important contributions to billiards

Billy Incardona belongs in the Hall of Fame.
There is no question that Billy has made lasting, memorable and important contributions to billiards.

Is there anyone else that is more qualified?
His credentials are impeccable.
I think it's an honor that Billy deserves and is long overdue.

I agree

Of course Billy is overdue, as are many others. The BCA has become a joke, when it comes to recognizing anything!.. They only represent the billiard industry leaders, and they even do a lousy job of that! Until there is a workable entity, that effectively represents both amateur and pro players, pool is a ship without a rudder!

I agree he deserves recognition, as do several others.

Grady Matthews
Mark Griffin
Greg Sullivan
Jerry Brieseth

Keith McCready for all the reasons I wrote in the other HOF thread started by Cornerman. :)

I absolutely agree that Billy Incardona should be inducted into the BCA's Hall of Fame. He is a joy to be around in any pool room, and he truly is one of the legends in this sport.

I like these choices....but a couple more that may not get mentioned because of their own
modesty.....a big influence at all levels of the game....the pool world would realize what a
big gaping hole they would leave if they stopped their contributions....
...the guys that make a lot of things work...

9 ball Billy

didn,t he win the Johnson city 9 ball

but if he were not ever the player he was
his commenting has added so much to pool that for that alone Billy should be in the hall of fame

As a one pocket authority and even became a player.
who has added more?

He gets my vote

Both

It would be nice if Billy and Grady were both inducted together......just like they used to commentate together........I will always remember one of my biggest laughs listening to them, when Billy told the story of how Grady once said he was the best 9 ball player in the world (after winning a tournament match in dominating fashion), and then proceeded to lose the very next match....Billy laughing while Grady was protesting because he didn't want Billy telling that story.....it was priceless!

Totally Agree! And don't forget in category one, he won the Johnson City 9-Ball in 1972, they don't call him 9-Ball Billy for nothing!

I agree about Grady. What bugs me about it, though, is why couldn't they do so when he was alive so that he could enjoy the recognition? :frown:
Yes Sir. It would have been nice to recognize the Professor while he was alive.
