Why did Jeremy want to go outside? That room looked plenty spacious for the scrum.

Alex Higgins Head butted a referee during a tourny among other things WORSE than Earl ever thought about. You really know your snooker history.

A few comments:
I. Jay Helfert did a good job covering that match.
2. An individual contacted me during Earls first match and said, You don't Landon to play Earl! My response was-that's exactly who I want Landon to play because I knew Earl could not get through to Landon and just shark himself. Landon commented before that he would win match.
3. I have a match of Landon when he 12 winning against Earl at Papa Murphy's in GA. Landon won 7-4 on 9 footers. It was a money match, too. Same comment before they played. I will win!

Golf is too uptight though. Tennis has got it just right. McEnroe was entertaining and not as psycho as earl. Idk how to explain it but there's a big difference between just plain unstable and a guy who gets worked up and doesn't hold back. Earl needs to go, but we need more McEnroes.
As I remember it, McEnroe only got mad at the umpires and line callers, never his fellow competitors. I think Conners and the other players would have kicked his ass if he had acted like Earl and screaming at them across the net.
CTE works.
Or so they say.
I don't use it, just read and hear about it.
Would like to study it though.
That was Landon's first match on a ten footer. CTE made the table seem less intimidating. His mindset was good because of his alignment skills.

Earl The Girl thinks very highly of himself.
He thinks the kid doesn't even deserve to be in the same room as he.
He's a pompous ***** through and through.
Has done nothing but bring bad name to our beloved game for his entire playing career.
Hopefully the likes of Boening, Ko Pin Yi, Pagulayan etc. will be able to fix some of the
damage to this game's reputation that The Whiny Girl has stained it with.
Meh..
I'd like you to try to explain how Earls *****ing and ranting has hurt the game more than the Challenge of Champions fixing scandal, of which he was NOT a part, which included most of the pro tour at the time and hall of famers. Instead people are kissing the asses of these rotten cheaters and letting Earl have it. They didn't include him, because they knew he'd never go along with it. That speaks to me. If there is one thing I can't stand, it's a cheater.
This thread is kind of sad. I mean, I get it, we all sometimes mentally masturbate about punching some guy, it's the natural consequence of having self control, but you can't find a better target than a guy with mental issues living hand to mouth? If Earl had been as sucessful as he was in any major sport, he would have been rolling in luxury at this time, and he would be pretty much immune to criticism. But since he plays pool he has to listen to crap from people who can't run 3 freakin' balls, what a joke! This doens't excuse his behavior in any way, but it does explain it somewhat. The rest can easily be explained by mental illness.
I totally get it, he's a jerk and his behavior is unacceptable. I think so too. But the proper response to this kind of behavior is administrative. Forfeit him from the tournament. Many bipolar people do not like taking their medication, but I wish Earl had done so at an earlier stage. Instead he keeps on digging himself into a hole from which he may never come out.
I member of my family once had a mental breakdown where she ran around insulting random people and saying outrageous stuff. Luckily people knew it was some kind of mental illness talking and merely talked back or ignored her, rather than physically attacking. I think that would be clear to most people, but apparently that is an actual thing to worry about, since a lot of you clearly do not understand that concept.
At one time (which was lenghty), Earl was the greatest 9 ball player in the world. As much as I love Reyes, I believe Strickland was in fact better, overall in 9 ball, especially in the offensive part of the game (no pun intended). Though naturally I'd never claim he kicked better! Strickland had a superior break, his jumping was unmatched and he made shots that were out of this world. He'd string racks like nothing. Every part of his game was strong, with no big weaknesses to speak of in his physical game, in 9 ball he was a more complete player than Reyes, even if Reyes was stronger in several areas, his break especially held him back from the insane rack stringing that Strickland was known for. In the Color of money challenge, it was Stricklands mental issues that did him in, after steamrolling Reyes for a long time.
Meh..
