Summary: Poolology is an approximation system that does NOT consist of precision alignments.
I am glad that someone gets it that does not mind speaking up. I already knew the answer but my opinion does not count in this matter.
I suspect that PJs findings would mirror the same results.

Seems a bit disingenuous of you, Stan. You already had this conversation in detail with Brian in that same thread that AtLarge just posted. What is your real reason for bringing this up again? Seems to me this is simply an attempt to bash another aiming system, which is against forum rules. Oh, I forgot, forum rules don't apply to you... my bad.
Did you really order Poolology since you really want to know how it works, or were you kidding when you said, "My order is in"?
That's very true but the promotion of Poolology as a no feel no adjustment system has continued in light of strong evidence that proves otherwise.
If bashing is speaking what's true then so be it. You chose to back an approximation horse under the guise that it is an exact ball pocketing system in a way to get at me and CTE through the back door. Do you think I'm blind to what you've been up to?
My claims of such were met with....well, you know the list, it's in this thread. I operate on the truth. If it hurts, then so be it.

Do the forum rules apply to you? I know one thing for certain, the consequences for ban time normally doled out too everyone else when they get one doesn't apply to you.
Not everything is about you, Stan. Poolology came out and is new and interesting. Several threads were started and I know at least mine never made any mention of CTE, real or imagined. I don't care about the semantics of what is objective and what is subjective. Poolology requires very little if any fudging, and in places where it doesn't work (one spot on the pool table plus at very close range), Brian provides an adjustment. Basically, you do a little math to find the fractional hit, hit that spot, and the ball goes in. Call it subjective if you want but it is a good system.
Since you are in a chatty mood, can you answer me this: If you are so interested in stopping the bad blood in this forum, why not just tell us the answer to the perception mystery you talk about? The mystery is the only thing the "non believers," or "deniers" you might call us, are confused about. If you just do a quick Youtube video instead of waiting for the book to come out you can clear up a 20 year feud. It would also increase orders for your book. I'd buy 10 and give them out to friends.
So, really, ending this back and forth is in your power. What you do with that will be interesting to see. Unfortunately this is the end of the road for this discussion as I figure screams of baiting are about to be heard, and I'd prefer to not be banned.
And, yes, you said in your post above that your order was in. I would have thought you order would be in a few months ago if you really wanted to know how Poolology worked... but that's just me.
Dave - OK it was fun for awhile letting you think I had an "in" with management. But, all good things must end. For the record, I didn't even know the "AZ" in AZ billiards referred to Arizona until like 6 months ago. I thought is was like "A to Z" billiards. I wouldn't know Mike or Mr. Wilson if I ran into them. Actually, come to think of it, I don't even know Mr. Wilson's first name.
I said that you did IT work for AZ. Lucky guess I suppose because you said you did. Someone told me that another AZ member did IT work for them and I incorrectly remembered it that YOU had done the work. The fact that you actually did was pure luck and fed into your delusion that I know somebody.
The simplest answer is usually correct: I appealed to AZ moderators to reconsider my ban and they did. That's as complicated as it gets. Sorry.

I'm pretty sure you are not following the discussion. I don't think you understand the "mystery" reference, but Stan does. In typical fashion, when a direct question is asked, one of the team members steps in to muddy the waters instead.

You bet! I understand the mystery quite well. It's definitely an outlier. It sure as heck has been a bugar in figuring out how two known perceptions can yield objective aim lines for nearly all cb ob relations. I m gonna do what I said. I'm on record right here one more time. Just be patient. You'll get the explanation as will the whole world via the internet.

As far as my order, I will fiddle with the POOLOLOGY system a little bit to confirm or not AtLarge's findings. I actually have a commitment from a strong up and coming pro that's eager to do a review for me for AZ if I choose to share it. My order was more for my friend that it was for me. Anyway, two birds with one stone.

So what's the answer? Why not disclose the secret now instead of waiting for a book release in the unknown future? God knows you've put just about everything else on Youtube, so why not this? If you can prove your point you will sell 10 times more books.
You come in here moaning and groaning about how misunderstood and mistreated you are with all the arguing ad nauseum. Meanwhile, you have the means of putting an end to all that and yet you don't do it.
It just wouldn't be good timing. I have planned all along to do a free video series at about the same time of my book release. I feel real good about my plan for a free series.
The waiting game is about over. My book is finished. I'm in the middle of tidying up my 143 diagrams for Illustrator. Then I have to stage 373 photos.......It's a big job. I will never do anything like it again.

As I told Lou i have had to rebuild my stroke after too many years of letting it go. Pretty much no practice time at all. Went to a diamond table league this summer and found I bobbled everything. But it is going well.. Three man teams and we finished second and won 1400$ for the three of us.
I can't believe these aiming discussions are still going on. I have always just used contact points with a little fractional stuff thrown in to double check. I only know of one guy in this area that uses anything else and it doesn't really seem to help him much. If your stroke is straight and consistent your brain will soon figure it out. Beginners do need some kind of aiming aid for the first little while but that's really all.
Since you have no aiming system to speak of as a non-aimer, don't use Poolology but continue to praise it, have no interest in using one, don't know enough about the one you've constantly bashed over the years...why do you live in the AIMING FORUM.?
It could be the end of it if you just LEAVE and move to the 14.1 forum, main forum, or NPR. How's that for a novel idea?

Let's look where all of this starts. YOU bashing or harassing Stan and CTE. I said in another post that I wouldn't even be here any more once Stan gets his book ready for sale and sets up his own forum and Facebook page. I will not allow a friend to take the crap you throw out constantly on this forum any more than I'd stand there like a statue if somebody attacked him or other friends in a bar. The difference between here and a bar is somebody might possibly be leaking red stuff like a fire hydrant in real life. Could be them, could be me. I don't care one way or another.
You and the likes of you leave entirely or leave the subject alone and this place turns into a peaceful quiet lake with virtually no sound.

What are all the parts of your PSR in intricate detail and how did you come to get there? You've said your PSR has changed a number of times over the years, What did you change and why?
(not expecting one thing from this request in a PSR THREAD which is his primary focus when playing)
OK, Stan, I can respect that. I would only suggest that you simply lay low until your book comes out with the full disclosure. Nobody is really supposed to say anything negative about any aiming system here anyway.
I suggest you read the sticky on forum rules for this forum. The moderators have had enough and won't allow negative comments about aiming systems. This isn't really a discussion forum anymore so be careful what you say! If you have something positive to say that is fine.
