Why do we not hear tales of the days when those two were unknown road dogs?

Surely they got into a lot of pool rooms and pockets.

Somebody must have been witness, no?

First time I saw Alex he was about 17 when he ca,email thru. He was playing McDermott tour down in Salisbury at action billorads. He did well but, either Charlie Williams or Rodney Morris put him out ( Rodney ) won that event. I do remember he had tons of offers for action as everyone thought he was like 12 or 13 ( that's what he looked like at best ). I do remember him in action but really didn't pay much attention as I had my own biz to take care of 😊
 
I heave heard the story Alex tells about him and Corey playing a match. He wanted to drive the car for some reason, which was a some big sedan, long hood, tough to see out of, and Alex is like 2 feet tall. So Alex gets behind the wheel and first thing he does is turn the wheel and hit the gas, smashing into another car. The car they hit was owned by the guy they just beat and they had to give the money back to him to pay for the damage.

Corey tells that story during the TAR interview with him and John Schmidt.
 
They were in Hawaii....Corey was 20, Alex was 19....they were both chick magnets....
...but Alex is more of an action junky....
...Alex stayed to the poolhall and won thousands for the team....Corey stayed on the beach....
....and won a few hearts
