Stan and a 33 minute video...

7' tables are a joke. I'd be embarrassed if I couldn't run out opposite handed on one. However, a 6 pack on a 9' table is excellent. I didn't say you were a good player or not. I said you can't tell how good someone really is by watching them run racks on a bar box. If you are a runout player on a 9' table then you certainly play well.

There are a lot of pros that don't think they are a joke, and enjoy playing on them.

And what exactly are you, Daniel?

Where are the videos of you playing?

You can have two pro's playing pool on anything and have a competitive match. That doesn't mean they are really playing pool. Look at it this way. I play on a 3' table and I damn near never miss a shot. Does that mean my skills are less than someone who runs out on a 10' table? Well, it means for sure that my skills are not adequately tested to say that I am a good player. That's all I'm saying.

There are a few floating around. Nothing big though. Last I saw your game you were playing on your kitchen table. That was before you took the video down.

Sorry I had to take those down as they were scaring away all my action. I do still have a few left of me playing the ghost that are still up.

I'd like to see how well you play. It's only right since you want to ridicule a guy that's probably 2.5 x's your age (no offense, Neil).

You might play pretty well. Only one way to know for sure.

Well two ways, but that's only if you ever find yourself down in Florida. Then you can show me how well you play.

PS. Why haven't you started a class action suit against Stan?

Dan has the ability to play well. His mechanics are very sound. His level of play from what I've seen on YouTube suggests that he will run a 30+ high run within a couple of games of straight pool which is pretty decent and certainly 50+ for higher runs.

If you give him the table on the hill and nothing is tied up on the 1ball, I wouldn't like my chances of winning that game. If he didn't have to work and just concentrated on pool, he could definitely be pro level.

Dan's no slouch. I think him and spidey would be a good match. I think Dan may have the edge if im not mistaken as of right now.

There would be a few CTE players in florida lined up if Dan wants to take a road trip

I swear to God, after reading all of this scientific stuff I have had enough of aiming systems. I can hold my own with just about anyone and all I use is my eyes, brain, feel and instinct to play well. Most of y'all would make perfect spouses with the way you bicker about. I will continue to play well and never again look at an aiming system thread again. Good luck to all of you who have to depend on a system.

It would be interesting to have all the people of the aiming forum match up. Of course Stan would be a favourite, but there would be lots of interesting matchups I think. It would certainly be more productive than arguing who is best based on nonsensical tests and incompatible table types.

Such a matchup wouldn't have any bearing on which aiming system is better but it would certainly be a good way to blow off some steam. I haven't been able to find youtube videos of any of the participants, but then again, I didn't look to hard. To me it doesn't really matter all that much. It's about the arguments, the reasoning and the demonstrations, not about the raw talent.

This is hardly the forum for it, but I'd like to comment on that run, nevertheless! It was GREAT! Your knowledge and expertise of straight pool are clearly on display, with a couple of gems of inventiveness thrown in! Nobody has to like playing you if you play like that!

You keep your cueball clear and under control, play nice patterns, you play the breakshots right and your rythm is good. It's really hard to find anything to disagree with or criticise. Even when you got out of line you took care of it very well The table seemed to play well, also, just about the right speed for straight pool. Edit: read the video description which answered my question.

If I told everyone that 2 plus 2 equals 4 and you are saying it equals 5, then I'll be taking you up on a bet for any amount of money. I'd get my cash out so fast the wind would knock you over.

Be careful when you ask for a proof.

Want to bet a dollar? or is that two?

Just saw your proof. Looking good up until the step where you try to divide by (b-a). I'm no math major, but I'm pretty sure you can't do that here.

If you have a proof that shows 2+2=5 then you'll get my attention.

The only thing that is proof of is that whomever thought it up, either willfully ignored, or plain didn't know that dividing by zero doesn't make sense. If b=a, then b-a must necessarily be zero
. What do I win for paying attention in elementary school?

In Vorpal's defense, I think it was just a joke. He knows 1 does not equal 2, but on the other hand... oh nevermind. ;)

wow, that’s great! May I use that as a blurb on my book jacket?
