For anyone reading this that doesn't know, when you hear the old stories about the champion Tom Tom....... this is him! I would absolutely LOVE to have seen Tom Tom and Geese ply each other both in their primes. That would be epic!!!
Tom is a great guy and player. I always make it a priority to see Tom whenever I get into town. I wish I knew Tom 25 or 30 years ago, my 1P would be much better.
Have you ever played a guy one pocket and every time you come to the table
there is just nothing to shoot, nothing easy anyway.
Or you finally have your opponent in a spot,it looks like he just has to leave you something
and all of a sudden he hits one ball into a bunch and the cue ball floats
behind a ball you didn't even know was there?
Well Tom teaches you which shot to shoot when and why.
Plus he teaches in a practical way.
Tom might shoot one shot, but its not the right shot for me
Why?
Because I haven't practiced the shot, because it is low % for a person of my skill
set,
When you step up to the table and all you can think is safety, the battle is halfway over
you lost!
Sometimes there is opportunity in a desperate looking situation.
these are the type of things you will learn from Tom.
This is not a "Don't eat yellow snow basics for beginners unless that is what you need
I have never played
I need about 6 guys who can commit to a day in April so we can get Tom down here.
Disclaimer
Tom said Billy Incardona down here know as much as he does
Tom would not like to be seen as someone claiming to be a genius
Billy is sharp, but Billy isn't giving lessons,Billy matches up and what you learn from him cost a lot more than $500 and leaves you wondering what happened. I know from sad experience.
Is your ip book available? Where can I buy it?
Thank you.

Gold Crowm
here is a guy who couldn't spell one pocket until he met
Tom
Now listen to him and notice
1 He talks about basic strategy as if he were a veteran
2 he has obviously developed a love for the game
he just gushes enthusiasm
3 Listen to what he says about Tom and his teaching
Do you think he wants his money back?
The guy knows he has been introduced to the thinking mans game
and he oozes with enthusiasm
You guys know i love one pocket, its all I play
You think I would know it all after 50 years
actually I am known for understanding the game
I beat people who could give me the orange crush at 9 ball
But when I first became acquainted with Tom Wirth
I realized how little I knew it thrilled me!
I saw him talk about the catchers MIT and suddenly I saw avenues to turn games around
when I saw him take desperate positions and not just get out of the shot safe ,but to put pressure on my opponent
It's funny, you think you know the game
and you find out that you are not that sharp
If you are not ashamed to take instruction,
if your game is with $500 to begin with
and you are willing to bring a teachable spirit to Dallas for a
Day of fun and learning, you just might become a good player,or better player over night
contact me guarantee your self a spot when Tom comes to Dallas
Why do you think Mark Griffin is paying Tom to come to
the national one pocket tournament to put on an exhibition?
Mark is not stupid*,he knows what Tom can do to help pool
* aside from not backing me to play in the championship, but that is
a different subject altogether
I'm speechless$500 for instruction on that game, one pocket, PLEASE. You can shoot
any ball on the table, your target is already decided, and you don't
even have to call how you are going to make it. In 8 ball you have
to figure out which ball to shoot and which pocket to shoot it in, for
crying out loud, and on top of all that if your opponent gets a ball close
to his pocket you knock it away. Talk about dirty chicken---- pool,
that takes the cake. You wouldn't do that crap but once in Steves Club
buster. That game is for beginners, and sissy's. Count me out I'll stick
to real man's pool.
