Andy Pro cloth plays signigicantly faster than Simonis 860HR, which is the main reason we like it better. The price difference is not a factor - Andy Pro used to be 15%-20% less than 860, but now it's virtually the same price as Simonis 860 and only about 10% less than 860HR.Wbat i said was they don't show as much, as in not out of normal when compared to how they were horrible on the 760 and 860 back in the 80's, 90's and early 2000. And i don't judge cloth as to how it looks or plays when it's first installed, i judge it when it's being replaced and how long it was used. Andy cloth don't outlast 860HR, if it were the same price as 860HR it wouldn't have the sales.
I'm not looking to get in to a discussion as to which one is better. Clearly Simonis 860HR is considered better by nearly everyone on this forum, partly due to many of them having never played on Andy Pro. But for myself and what we wanted, I'm very happy right now with the Andy Pro, and price was not a consideration.
