And so far as I can tell, Pat Fleming will not be producing the event. The article says "The show will go on," but it will not be at the Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel. "We should be able to say more in a few weeks," said Brady.

And so far as I can tell, Pat Fleming will not be producing the event.
Why? Thought all was well with the event.
I’ll summarize:
No date has been set for the 2018 Open.
Sheraton has been told they won’t be hosting the event this year.
No new location has been finalized or announced yet.
Behrman states holding event at Q-Masters was considered but they decided against it.
Pat Fleming told BD that talks with Behrman about the 2018 Open “have gone nowhere.”
Interesting. Thanks.

Thanks. Looks like the apple does not fall far from the Behrman tree.... I anticipate a year of stall tactics, press releases about upcoming press releases, oh, and super long press releases that don't say anything.
I guess it was too good to be true that Pat took over entirely.
I suspect that the Behrman's own the "US Open" and thus it's not so easy. Maybe Mr. Korean Dungdragon can have "The Universe 9 Ball Championship" on the same days and crush the event.
