They had some nice ones. They most likely sold real quick and they're using Ebay to sell-off the dregs. Kinda sad to see you're right.I heard from a guy who bought some of the old Anniversary tops that soooo much of the old parts got trashed... SUCH A WASTE! Who even does that to an ANNIVERSARY???![]()
Surprised even one person is even bidding on them...

I was referring to the post about who would do that to an Anniv. It is sad to see.I would assume that Brunswick themselves sold them the new tops..... Rendering them useless as awesome tables after, I did get some parts out of the guy in Lansing. Right? What is that? It's just a fact.

I agree it is very sad! It would have been awesome to score them for RESTORATION!I was referring to the post about who would do that to an Anniv. It is sad to see.
Were the tops a direct switch or did a bunch of mods need to be done? They'd be ok players just no collector value?I agree it is very sad! It would have been awesome to score them for RESTORATION!
Have yourself a nice Sunday! :

Welcome to America, where we tear down perfectly food structures, just to replace them with newer ones.
No sense of culture...actuallly, maybe we are too young to have any...and the lack of it ain't shown in just pewel.
The slates are interchangeable between the two, so pretty much a direct swap.
GC3 rails on an Anniversary base.
Can't say I've seen that before.

Its the ghost of Woody Hayes. Woody made 'em do it. :thumbup:I recently worked on a GC1( Same frame as Anniversary) and it had GC3 slates, they did not fit exactly, the pockets are cut totally different. the frame is larger on the GC1. It worked, but, had to trim the side pockets heavily.
For the sake of not ruining perfectly good Anniversary's, the time and labor they could have just bought new tables. Its not like U.M. could not afford it!
